Liine is an amazing guide — professional, friendly, and great to spend time with. Walking around Tallinn’s Old Town with her is a fantastic way to discover the city and learn more about Estonia and its people, even if you are a local.
Our tour guide, Marie, was excellent! Her knowledge of the facts was obvious, and she related them well. In addition, she let us get to know her as a person along with her culture. Several people on the tour told me she was the best guide they ever had.
We visited Tallinn on a day trip while visiting Helsinki (it is about a 2 hour ferry ride). Tallinn has a wonderfully preserved medieval old town, amongst the best in Europe. We spend the entire day exploring the old town on a self-guided tour (having planned out the route ahead of time). Tallinn is a beautiful city, well worth while visiting. It is not large, so you can cover the old city easily in a day, but a couple of days would be needed if you want to explore some of the sites and enjoy some good restaurants.
We had a fantastic private tour of the old city with our guide. She was so knowledgeable and patient. She knew a lot of history and had great recommendations for us. I’d recommend this for anyone. Liisi was just amazing.
Raimo is a historian with a terrific sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable and able to answer all kinds of questions. He is an engaging speaker that brings history alive. His English is so good I had a hard time believing he was Estonian and not American!
The tour was honestly one of the best I’ve been on. Our guide Raimo, a masters history student, was very detailed and fun! Answered all of my questions, some even before I got a chance to ask! 10/10 tour! Highly recommend!
Our tour with Raimo was so interesting, got to know a lot about the old town. Tour tempo was good and we had a good chat with our group as well.
Incredible tour with Mirjam!! She showed us the best spots, she was very dynamic and provided really nice recommendations
Very nice and comfortable way to get to know the main history of Tallinn with a very nice and friendly guide! I had a really great time and made a good friend! I hope we meet again in the near future! Keep up the good work! Bon Voyage!
We hit this off of a cruise ship and it was the highlight of our visit to Estonia. Mirjam's personal experience made the liberation of Estonia real. I'm so glad the youth of this country will never go back to servitude. I and my wife enjoyed the amazing stories that went with the landmarks we visited. There was no charge for the tour, but we were happy to leave a big tip.
