Description

Very informative - learn things that I did not know Iris was awesome, I would definitely recommend this tour.
Craig was a great guide. He managed to impart a lot of information on a very grave subject whilst also ensuring moments of light heartedness. We had a tour of the Anne Frank house afterwards and Craig gave a great introduction and some of the information given filled in some of the gaps in the house tour.
It was so informative and interesting. Our tour guide Iris was lovely and very knowledgeable. She was able to answer everyone’s questions and we learnt a lot. I’m so glad we did this tour.
This was a fantastic tour with Tristan. He was extremely well versed and informative and explained this important and relevant history in a direct and simple way. We would do another tour with Tristan in a heartbeat and highly recommend.
Tristan was an incredible guide. His knowledge of the Jewish experience in WW2 Amsterdam is excellent. He truly brought the tour to life. Would absolutely recommend.
Fantastic tour Iris our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend taking tour.
Iris is extremely passionate and knowledgeable. She spends quality time with each individual even if it’s a big group. Her attention to detail and communication skills are commendable. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and highly recommend it.
Very informative and presented well. Craig was knowledgeable and presented a really heavy topic well
This must be a small operation because the location on the instructions was very vague in fine print so when we arrived on time to the Anne Frank house, we could have met up with the tour guide within five minutes, but there was no way to get in touch with anybody. Couldn’t get through to Viator and Viator has been horrendous. All we asked was for a partial refund. We just threw $140 down the drain. Viator was impossible to deal with and then they came back like three days later and said oh the operator will you go on another tour. So I reached out to both them and VA to reschedule they again would take days to get back and then came back with the time that we were had already plans out of town so we never got to go on the tour. We threw our moneydown the drain and Byer just has no flexibility or nor understanding.
We wanted to learn more about Anne Frank and her story as well as Jewish history in Amsterdam and this tour was exactly what we were looking for. Our guide Craig was extremely knowledgeable on the subject and answered all of our questions with great detail. I definitely recommend this tour as a must do when visiting Amsterdam. We were not lucky enough to get tickets to the Anne Frank Hiuse but it would be great to end this tour with a visit to the Hiuse if you can get a spot.
