Courte visite des jardins Mirabell, avant ou après la visite. Montez et descendez les marches de Do-Re-Mi et admirez la célèbre fontaine Pégase, où Maria et les enfants de Von Trapp dansaient. Ne manquez pas non plus le tunnel du labyrinthe de haies sur votre droite en marchant vers la forteresse pour une vue encore plus imprenable sur la ville de Salzbourg.
Arrêt photo au château Leopoldskron. Profitez de l'autre côté du lac de la magnifique vue sur le palais et la forteresse comme toile de fond parfaite. Bien que les tournages intérieurs aient été réalisés dans les studios, Hollywood a utilisé la magnifique terrasse du Rococo Palace comme cadre idéal pour que Maria et le Baron dansent pendant la scène du bal. Le lac est également célèbre pour la scène du bateau, où Maria et les enfants sont tombés du bateau.
Arrêt photo au parc Hellbrunn, découvrez le belvédère original, capturant la scène la plus romantique du film La Mélodie du bonheur lorsque Liesl reçoit son premier baiser en chantant 16 et 17.
À Mondsee, vous visiterez la magnifique basilique Saint-Michel où Maria et Georg von Trapp se sont mariés dans le film : un incontournable pour tout fan de la Mélodie du bonheur. Assurez-vous également de goûter un strudel aux pommes - avant de préparer le vôtre - tout en explorant cette ville pittoresque au bord du lac pendant vos 50 minutes de temps libre.
Cours de cuisine Edelweiss. Après votre tournée Original Sound of Music en chantant Edelweiss et My Favorite Things, il est temps de préparer votre propre strudel aux pommes. Depuis notre gare routière, il faut environ 10 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le cours de cuisine (plan sur le bon). Participez à toutes les étapes de la préparation – et bien sûr en dégustant également le somptueux dessert à la fin. Une soupe de goulasch traditionnelle (options végétariennes ou végétaliennes également disponibles) sera également servie pour le déjeuner avant de savourer vos propres délices cuits au four.

April was our tour guide and made the tour fun and memorable. She combined conversation about the filming history with sight seeing and singing to keep us occupied for 2 hours. We're still singing a day later! Thanks for a great time 😄

Maybe I said that managed my expectations. The trip was OK. It was nice to see where the movie was filmed. It would’ve been great to be able to go into the gazebo. But I understand there are so many people that come throughthe tour. It’s difficult. I have issues with the description of the tour. I booked a cooking class along with the sound of music tour. The tour guide had very little information and there was confusion in regard to a lunch and beverage that was to be included. The was provided at the cooking class, but not until after 3 o’clock. In regard to the beverages, I was asked to pay for a beverage. That was not provided at either of the tour or cooking class. It clearly stated that a beverage was included. The cooking class was very good. Our instructor was friendly professional, and understood how to teach class properly. I thought we were only going to bemaking apple strudel, but we also made nockerl . I will definitely recommend the cooking class, but I can honestly say I will not recommend the tour.

We had an amazing time visiting all the sights of Sound of Music. Our tour guide, April, really made everything come alive! She was fantastic. As well as driver Sammy Davis Junior Jr. We laughed, we sang, we saw. After the bus tour, we made our way over to Edelweiss cooking. Our time there was enjoyable as well. The strudel making was fun and yummy! The cookies were delicious. It was great meeting folks from around the globe. If you are looking for a fun filled day, I would highly recommend this. You will not be disappointed.

Lots of good knowledge shared by the travel expert. Wish we could have gone closer to most of the sights. Too many are view from the bus! The stop in Mundsee was excellent - wish it could have been a little more time!

The Sound of Music Tour was everything we hoped it would be. Singing the songs from the movie while seeing the filming sites and hearing behind the scenes info about filming made for an enjoyable day. The Edelweiss Cooking class was lots of fun. We made apple strudel as planned but also made a Salzburg nockerl.

Best tour guides and bus driver ever ! Always feeling safe with this dynamic duo is a must on any tour. Ferdinand, the bus driver, did not disappoint ! Negotiating turns and hilltops with ease, there were never anxious moments. Thank you Ferdinand! As for the tour host, Jose should be awarded an Academy Award! " Let's start at the very beginning..." as the song goes, this man gives more information, humor, kindness and joy than any guide I've ever experienced in a bus tour.
