Découvrez les magnifiques jardins Mirabell où la chanson "Do-Re-Mi" a été filmée. Après ou avant de rejoindre la visite, nous vous recommandons de visiter les jardins par vous-même en explorant la fontaine Pegasus ainsi que les marches Do-Re-Mi.
Vous passerez devant le couvent de Nonnberg, où Maria était novice et s'est mariée avec le baron von Trapp.
Le prochain arrêt photo est les jardins du Schloss Hellbrunn, où vous visiterez le belvédère en verre utilisé dans le film pour la scène du baiser de Maria et du baron von Trapp.
Profitez de la vue à couper le souffle lors d'un arrêt photo au lac Leopoldskron reflétant le palais, où la célèbre scène de navigation a été filmée.
Continuez ensuite vers le lac Wolfgang. Lors d'un bref arrêt photo, profitez de la vue sur le lac Wolfgang et descendez jusqu'à St. Gilgen.
Vous aurez env. 1 heure libre à Mondsee, où vous avez la chance de visiter la célèbre basilique Saint-Michel, où le mariage de Maria et du baron von Trapp a été filmé.

Après votre visite, savourez votre menu à 3 plats au restaurant Herzl du Goldener Hirsch.

The tour was nice and fun. April and our driver Ferdinand did a great job of getting us around town. You are on the bus for quite a while. The meal after the tour was good, but you had to find the place -about a 10 minute walk.

Absolutely loved the Original Sound of Music Tour. If you are visiting Salzburg and are a SoM fan, this tour is a must! We opted for the Schnitzel and Noodle tour which has a three course lunch afterwards. Although the food was good, I wish we had just done the tour. The restaurant is across the river and several blocks away from where the tour ends and we had to hurry to get there in time.

This was such a fun experience! I grew up watching The Sound of Music with my mother and then watched it with my children. Simon gave us interesting facts about the filming of the movie. He really added to the experience. 10/10 would recommend this tour.

Lovely tour! Loved our tour guide David and our driver Hackie! We did it as a day trip from Munich, which I may not recommend. Very long day and unless you’re very comfortable with the train system, it may cause some stress. Salzburg was beautiful - hope to visit again someday.

This is a wonderful way to learn more about the making of The Sound of Music while enabling you to see some of the sights of Salzburg. David, our tour guide was very entertaining, particularly during the 'Lonely Goatherd'. Ferdinand, our driver did a marvellous job of safely navigating the roads. Make sure you take photos along the way to Mondsee as the tour returns via a different route, and you won't get a chance to take photos on the return journey. The sing along is a fun aspect of the tour. We finished with The Sound of Music meal at Restaurant Herzl, which was delicious.

A fun tour with very interesting insights. April (our guide) was fabulous and passionate about the Sound of Music, and our driver Alex was kind.
Perfect for Sound of Music fans and those wanting to know more about the film, the original Trapp family, and Salzburg. Brigette was an awesome tour guide! Really enjoyed singing along to the film with a bus full of strangers from across the world. Such fun!
Tour guide and driver themselves were great. We did the Schnitzel and Noodle edition of the tour. I understand it's a 4hr tour and that you won't be able to see everything, but you barely got maybe 15-20 minutes at the gazebo and Schloss Leopoldskron, even less than that at the gardens at the end of the tour. We were given almost an hour though to visit the church, which was overkill. At the end of the tour, if you opted for the meal you are on your own with a voucher and have to find your way to the restraunt without the rest of the tour group.
