Il est considéré comme le plus grand parc urbain d'Amérique et, en raison de ses dimensions, il est divisé en trois parties. Découvrez le monument de Niños Héroes, dédié aux cadets décédés lors de l'intervention américaine au Mexique. Vous verrez 6 grandes colonnes de marbre avec une torche au sommet, et en dessous, une figure de femme tenant un cadet mort et une branche d'olivier, comme symbole de paix.
Lors de votre visite, vous vous arrêterez dans l'un des nombreux sites archéologiques qu'héberge le parc de Chapultepec. Il s'agit d'une petite zone avec quelques vestiges archéologiques, où votre guide vous expliquera tout sur ce qu'ils étaient dans le passé.
Le Totem canadien était un don du gouvernement du Canada au pays mexicain pour commémorer le 150e anniversaire de son indépendance.
La Casa de los Pinos, populairement connue sous le nom de Los Pinos, a été la résidence du président des États-Unis du Mexique de 1934 à 2018. Depuis lors, c'est un espace culturel ouvert au public au sein de la forêt de Chapultepec.
La Fuente de la Templanza est ornée de sculptures représentant la prudence, la tempérance, la justice et le courage, qui décoraient autrefois la façade du bâtiment du ministère des Relations extérieures.
La Calzada de los Poetas est une route du parc de Chapultepec dédiée à un total de dix poètes et écrivains, décorée de bustes en bronze.
Le monument historique Baños de Moctezuma a été construit au XVe siècle par Nezahualcóyotl sous le règne de Moctezuma et était utilisé par les tlatoanis mexicains comme lieu de plaisir, pour élever des poissons exotiques, ainsi que pour stocker l'eau des sources provenant de la colline. .
Le parc urbain compte trois lacs. Ces immenses masses d'eau accumulées artificiellement accueillent une multitude de touristes et d'activités sportives. Vous pourrez respirer l'air pur de cette grande métropole.
Apprenez à connaître la faune que cache le parc de Chapultepec. Vous verrez beaucoup d'espèces exotiques à travers le monde, et des musées intéressants comme un éléphant et un papillon. Sans aucun doute, l'endroit le plus aimé des enfants.
Pendant le trajet, vous pourrez admirer le Castillo de Chapultepec, reconnu comme le seul véritable château d'Amérique du Nord et la résidence de la royauté, de l'empereur Maximilien Ier et de l'impératrice Carlota. C'est également considéré comme un musée et un lieu rempli d'œuvres d'art permettant de découvrir une grande partie de l'histoire de la ville de Mexico.
Vous passerez par le Musée national d'anthropologie de Mexico avant de terminer votre visite, qui est le musée le plus important de tout le territoire mexicain. Il est conçu pour abriter et exposer l'héritage archéologique des peuples de Méso-Amérique, ainsi que pour rendre compte de la diversité ethnique actuelle du pays.
Le Musée d'Art Moderne (MAM) est un lieu culturel dédié principalement à la préservation, à l'étude et à la diffusion de l'art mexicain produit depuis les années 1930.

I was provided an English speaking guide, Alex. We explored zones 1 and 2 of Chapultepec Park by bike. Alex was knowledgeable of the history and gave great recommendations on what else to see in the park and the surrounding area. The bike ride was easily manageable with bare minimum fitness. Highly recommend.

Friend was injured and we tried to cancel, told we couldn’t as my card was charged..😞will not use Viator again

The bicycles were broken and very hard to pedal. The tour operator never texted us the day before like all the other tours do. As a result we didn’t have communications to meet up at the right place. It was frustrating. The tour guide did a nice job, and it was good to be in the park early. One last thing. The first stop on the tour after we got started was on an overpass over a big highway with very loud cars and lots of fumes. They should skip this stop. We just wanted to get in the park for peace and quiet and clean air while the guide told us about when they built the highway. Who cares?

Bosque de Chapultepec is massive; the bike tour was the perfect way to see more of it and learn more than we would have on our own. The information on this tour helped us decide what parts of the park to visit by ourselves in the afternoon. It was a very peaceful morning biking through the quiet and shady park, stopping here and there to learn about the sights and history of the park. I recommend starting a Chapultepec day with this tour and then planning to stick around to see more of it. We also planned this for near the end of our trip so we wouldn't have any issues with the altitude, but the biking is chill and not intense - I think we would have been fine from day one.

The tour was great. It started on time at 8:30. Which is a great time to ride through the park. No traffic and nice temperature. Yair was our guide. he was great. Very knowledgeable about the history of the park , the statues and their significance in Mexican history. The pace was perfect for my husband and I who are in our mid 60’s. Yair’s English is perfect. Definetly recommend the tour.
