After reading such great reviews, I had high expectations. The guide was knowledgeable but spoke way too fast and modulated the tone of his voice in a way that it was tough to understand. I expected more variety and more details about architecture but it this is not that tour. The one other couple in our group were delightful to converse with during the tour.
If you enjoy history walks, this one was good. It presents an overview of the parks, churches, buildings, and statues in the city center. It's best to take a few notes if you'd like to revisit the area or to enter the buildings/churches/synagogue.
Informative and educational, providing quite a bit of detail about key founders and city beginnings.
Very informative and entertaining. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the town and history.
The tour was fun and very interesting. Our guide Pearce was so knowledgeable and was very pleasant. Highly recommend.
Champ was an excellent guide, pointing out landmarks with historical context and answered questions nicely. He even discussed some of the local plants and trees and injected humor along the way. Savannah is a beautiful city.
