Adventures of Jean Lafitte propose des visites personnelles d'alligators dans le magnifique arrière-pays de la Louisiane. Rassemblez tout votre équipage et venez découvrir la "route la moins fréquentée" ! Vous visiterez 20 000 acres de marais de cyprès de marée. Au cours de votre visite d'une heure et demie, vous aurez l'occasion de voir des alligators, des serpents, des tortues, des aigrettes, des hérons et des ibis, et nous verrons parfois des faucons, des hiboux et des pygargues à tête blanche. REMARQUE : Nous sommes à environ 35-45 minutes de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Les services de taxi et d'uber ne sont pas disponibles dans notre région. Si vous réservez l'option de conduite autonome, vous ne bénéficierez pas de la prise en charge à l'hôtel. Si vous réservez l'option avec prise en charge, la prise en charge commencera 1 heure et 15 minutes avant l'heure de la visite.

Aménagé sur une étendue de 20 000 acres (8 095 hectares) de marais de cyprès marée à proximité du parc historique national et réserve Jean Lafitte. Votre bateau à fond plat est guidé tranquillement à travers les marais peu profonds. Découvrez des bayous bordés de cyprès moussus et de tupelo-gommiers pendant que votre capitaine vous montre une étonnante variété d'animaux sauvages. Profitez d'une visite entièrement commentée par un guide local. Préparez-vous à voir beaucoup d'alligators pendant les mois les plus chauds (et les jours plus chauds en hiver), dont certains peuvent être au soleil sur des bûches! Votre guide peut même nourrir les alligators, vous offrant des opportunités de photos incroyables. Gardez également les yeux ouverts pour les tortues, les serpents, les aigrettes, les hérons et les ibis. Vous pouvez même apercevoir un faucon, un hibou ou un pygargue à tête blanche. Dans les mois les plus froids, recherchez les cerfs de Virginie, les ratons laveurs et les gros rongeurs appelés ragondins.

More for sight seeing we should have done the airboats. I fell asleep and we only saw 3 gators 🤷🏽♀️😩! Viewed more trees and had to listen to the tour guide talk about someone’s house in Dallas 😒😒 and tell us to be quiet so he could hear himself speak basically! 1/10 would not recommend! If ur looking at this keep scrolling spend that $40 on something fun
Was wonderful, loved the guide, Captain Larry ! Very well informed, he took his time showed us a lot of alligators.
We definitely recommend the covered boat. Bring water and be prepared to enjoy the bayou. The experience was very interesting and the tour guide was very informative.

It is like the Gator tour but without the loud airboat and this boat had shade. Our guide was really great!

We enjoyed the trip but not what we expected. It lacked info on the bayou flora, animals, and living in swamps. Just a tourist trip to see alligators. Commentator spoke soft and could not hear.

We only got 10 minutes on the boat due to lightening. BUT, the Captain and the young lady at the desk were wonderful. The Captain explained everything and the young lady issued me a refund without me asking
Our tour guide, Adam, I believe, was very good. The boat is a pontoon style and was covered. We saw several gators that swam right up to the boat. We went in May which is supposed to be a good time to see them. Check-in was easy in the air-conditioned gift shop with bathrooms. There was also a bathroom at the deck where we waited for our boat number to be called. The only problem we had was with the directions they sent. You are told to turn in on Fleming Park Rd but that is a one-way street going out. Directions should say turn at Texas St. We had 3 people with us between 22 and 31 and they loved it. Great for all ages.

Overall it was an okay experience. We got to see alligators; that was great. But the boat driver played music during the ride (I felt that was weird). Also, I couldn't understand when he would tell us about things. The sounds was low. They fed marshmallows to the alligators, which isn't healthy I believe. The whole process took a long time. We departed from the hotel at 8:30, reached the location at 9:15 and the tour started at 10am. Could have squeezed the timeline.

We had the best time ever, our guide was fun and informative. We got to see lots of things around the swamp and thoroughly enjoyed entire outing. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s thinking about it, stop thinking and just do it!!
