It’s a great way to see the canyon and get to Puno ! It was fun and we were well looked after I would recommend!
The Condors were amazing. Only two of us wanted to go to hot springs but Orlando took us anyway . The hotel was okay. In great location. Orlando went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The one star downgrade is because of the Puno transfer. The seat room was very cramped worse than an airplane.
Our Guide was excellent. Super friendly and she gave us a lot of useful insides. We were lucky enough to be at the sights relatively alone because of her good timing and were lucky enough to see condors.
Absolutely gorgeous place, from the wildlife to the landscapes. We traveled in great company. The tour was really well organised, everything was on time. Highly recommended.
Visiting the Colca valley and canyon is not as dramatic as doing the Inca trail or going to Machu Picchu but with a good guide, this was a fascinating trip. Mileine, our guide, gave us a very good sense of life and culture in Arequipa and the Colca valley. We learned a lot about contemporary life as well as pre-Inca and Inca civilizations. We really enjoyed this trip!
On day one seeing all the local animals especially alpayand llamas. We were able to stop and pet them. The views of the volanoes were amazing. Time spent in Chivay was very good and the hotel was very well situated in the main square. On day 2 we went to the Colca Canyon and were very lucky with our views of the condors. They flew really low and allowed us a great view. At the main viewpoint we saw at least 12 condors giving us a great show and also resting on the rocks. The Colca valley was also beautiful to view. We had a good journey to Puno viewing lovely countryside.
The drive to the canyon was spectacular! Patrizia was so knowledgeable and gave great history and detail bilingually. Rudy was a very safe driver. We saw condors but my photos aren’t great since many were far away. The stops to see vicuña and other things made a long trip enjoyable.
What a great team, from start to finish, collection prompt, informative and guides very helpful... Highly recommend.
