It was enclosed which was good on the cold day. It gave lots of good information about Seattle and frequent stops at tourist areas. I always try to ride the hop-on to get an overview of the town.
The first stop was not at the meeting place listed on the email. We needed to ask for directions to find it. There was no tour guide and the recorded message did not match where we were. The bus driver kept replaying the same segment of the recording until our location matched the recording.
I booked directly on the website for the full $65. Immediately after I booked, I was then sent a message that 1/3 of the stops would not be running. This was not communicated ahead of the purchase and I feel like it was deceptive. In addition, the ride has several unsafe branches that will hurt you if you are not paying attention and constantly ducking. Also, the audio is too quiet to hear. I would not recommend spending your money on this tour or doing business with this company.
It was so-so. It’s a recorded narration not a human speaking. It was hard to find the location markers because they are just small signs placed on the sidewalk. When we first got on the bus, we waited about 20 minutes before they told us we had to switch to another bus. Everything stopped at 4PM so we had to walk back to or hotel (40 minute walk) from Pike Place Market. The bus driver was a good driver, we always felt safe and comfortable. Some of the speakers didn’t work on the bus so it was hard to hear the narrative.

Good experience except for the annoying travelers on the next seat over who yapped thru all the tour narrations. Glad we rode it twice. Narrations were informative but a live person would have been better. Ignore the bad reviews you see. The bus was fine. Yeah, the seats are hard, but they are on all ones I have been on. The route was perfect. Didn’t have to wait too long for a bus. I recommend highly. Today, we will visit one of the areas we passed.

The tour was ok. I was expecting an open top bus but we had a closed top bus. The driver didn’t have a microphone and the pre recorded announcement did not match up with the landmark. The speaker was too loud. Up side, I come to Seattle quite a bit and I’m driving so it was nice to see the landmarks without running off the road. I would recommend it if you haven’t seen the sites and there are some great places to hop on and off.

We enjoyed this bus tour around Seattle. We did this tour as our first activity in Seattle. We got an idea of various sights around Seattle. It was very easy to get on and off the bus at various stops. And we never had to wait too long for the next bus. The website tells you how many buses are running and their location. So you can see in real time how close the next bus is. This made it easy to decide when to walk back to the bus stop. My family thought it was a great way to see the city. We enjoyed it. It was an automated tour which is fine. We have been on some where it was the bus drive that gave the tour and those are the best!
The buses were clean, drivers were all friendly and I saw more of Seattle in one day than I have in the several other times I've visited. It was great! The only issue I encountered was finding the first location. There are signs at the hop on/off locations but they're not huge so it took me a minute to find. But otherwise, it was great!
