Description
Le canyon de Nazaré, une formation naturelle creusant un trou extrêmement profond et large dans le fond marin juste à côté du rivage, crée des vagues massives qui font de cet endroit, Praia do Norte, une Meca pour les surfeurs aventureux du monde entier. Le canyon cache également un sous-marin nazi, qui y fut coulé exprès pour ne plus jamais être retrouvé... Nous visiterons également le Sanctuaire et la Chapelle de la Mémoire et pourrons avoir une vue imprenable sur Nazaré et une grande partie de la côte de la Côte d'Argent (jusqu'aux îles Berlengas). Enfin et surtout, vous découvrirez également Nazaré lui-même, un village de pêcheurs traditionnel unique en son genre, ses ruelles étroites face à la mer et ses anciennes traditions comme le «poisson sec» et les «sites touristiques» déroutants. » de femmes locales portant leurs célèbres sept jupes.

We had a great time on this private Tour of Nazare. Our tour guide, João Pedro gave us a great background of the history of this charming seaside fishing town which is now world famous for its huge waves in the winter. We visited many of the sites in the city ending at the famous lighthouse overlooking the huge surf beach. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting this beach city.
