Lors de cette excursion d'une journée, vous explorerez la Médina animée de Marrakech aux côtés de notre guide expert. En commençant par l'emblématique place Jamaa el Fna, vous plongerez dans les principaux monuments historiques de la ville, tels que l'imposante mosquée Koutoubia, l'élégant palais Bahia et l'historique Ben Youssef Medrassa. En vous promenant dans les ruelles étroites de la Médina, vous découvrirez également les Souks traditionnels animés, où vous pourrez découvrir l'artisanat et les marchandises marocaines authentiques. La visite peut être adaptée à vos intérêts spécifiques. Veuillez noter que les frais d'entrée aux attractions ne sont pas inclus dans le coût de la visite. Votre guide vous recommandera les lieux incontournables et vous aurez également la possibilité de choisir les sites à privilégier.

Balade autour de la mosquée Koutoubia avec son imposant minaret, le plus haut de Marrakech. À l'intérieur des murs de la ville, aucun bâtiment n'est autorisé à être plus haut que la Koutoubia. Le minaret fait partie de la plus grande mosquée de Marrakech, qui a été achevée en 1199.
Vous aurez une promenade pour explorer Jemaa el Fna, la place principale de la médina et un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Bien que maintenant rempli d'artistes de rue, de charmeurs de serpents, de marchands et de stands de jus d'orange, lors de sa création en 1050, il était utilisé pour des exécutions publiques, ce qui a peut-être conduit à son nom qui peut être traduit par «assemblée de la mort».
Palais de la Bahia, un palais de la fin du XIXe siècle construit pour le grand vizir et nommé d'après son épouse préférée. Les chambres, situées dans un jardin de 2 acres, comprennent les pièces qui abritaient son harem, une position souvent politique.
La Madrassa est une ancienne école islamique et celle de Ben Youssef est la plus grande de la région du Maghreb. Dans ce site historique, vous verrez la belle architecture marocaine, des carreaux de zellij aux sculptures et calligraphies en plâtre et en stuc, ainsi que les belles œuvres en bois de cèdre sur les voûtes et les plafonds du site.
Dirigez-vous vers les souks entourant Jemaa el Fna et arrêtez-vous dans un magasin d'apothicaires berbères pour découvrir les utilisations médicinales de nombreuses épices et herbes courantes encore utilisées au Maroc pour traiter des maladies courantes. Bien que ce ne soit pas aussi pittoresque que les tas d’épices que vous trouverez sur le marché, il est beaucoup plus instructif. Ensuite, visitez les différents ateliers comprenant des cordonniers et des boulangers.

Mohamed took us to the best of the medina and we really enjoyed our time with him. Can’t recommend him highly enough.
