Thank you Carolina, you were wonderful. The walking tour was fun and informative, our guide went well over the allotted time.
Miguel has an excellent knowledge of the city of Girona, as well as a humor that makes the tour very entertaining, as well as interesting. We had a great time in your company.
It is well worth the time and money to take a guided tour like this. It helps to contextualize the history of the city and the significant works of architecture. I think what I liked best was that there was not one mention of Game of Thrones, something I could not care less about! Instead, the emphasis was on the rich history of this fascinating city.
Carolina was a wonderful guide! She certainly knew her Girona history. She loves her city and was passionate about sharing it with us. She was very friendly and patient throughout all of our requests for photos! She also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Her tour was money very well spent!
Carolina was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. Interesting and friendly. Also took fantastic photos of us.
Carolina was a great tour guide, thoughtful, inclusive, and very knowledgeable. So thankful we did the tour. Cathedral was my favorite, but the entire 3 hours were amazing.
Our tour guide Pete was extremely knowledgeable, he was very accommodating, and made the tour very interesting.
We were the only 2 people in the tour. It was a very crowded day, so it was difficult to hear Ona's commentary. It was easier once we got into the Cathedral and the Basilica because there were no crowds. We thought the price for this tour a bit expensive for what we did. Maybe it was the cost of the tickets. We did 2 more of your tours after this, and we enjoyed them more.
We were fortunate to come during a slow period and we were the only ones on the tour. Gave us lots time to ask questions and learn about the culture of Girona, not just the 3 places we visited. Ona was our tour guide and wow is she a smart individual and a great representative for the tour agency and Girona. She knew so much about the history and the present day that my very intelligent wife was able to have long conversations about all aspects of life and culture in Girona and the US. The cathedral was beautiful and full of cool historical objects dating back to the 11th century. The Arab baths were nice and Saint Feliu Basilica had some interesting history but this high rating was for the Cathedral, the history of Girona, and Ona, our guide. Ona also directed us to the best part of the ancient wall to walk and had plenty of food recommendations for us. She went above and beyond to make our visit to Girona the best it could be. I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Girona.
Ona is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. The tour was very informative and conducted in a casual manner with lots of tips on what to do and see in the region. A stark contrast to all the other huge group tours that were starting in the same place.
