Vous commencerez votre visite dans l’un des bars à tapas les plus emblématiques de la ville. Au service des locaux avec des plats délicieux depuis des décennies, cet endroit est un incontournable pour tout amateur de cuisine. Vous dégusterez un apéritif parfaitement accordé ainsi qu’une sélection de charcuteries et de fromages triés sur le volet. Vous dégusterez également un véritable plat de pommes de terre espagnol classique, une parfaite introduction aux spécialités de la ville.
Avant ou après votre introduction à l'un des lieux les plus historiques de Barcelone (selon que votre visite a lieu le matin ou l'après-midi), il est tout à fait approprié de se promener dans le quartier gothique. En parcourant ses rues étroites et en passant devant des ruines romaines antiques, vous voyagerez à travers mille ans d’histoire. Le deuxième bar à tapas de notre circuit a ouvert ses portes en 1945 avec un menu composé de quatre plats à tapas. Naturellement, ceux-ci ont été perfectionnés au fil des ans et soigneusement choisis pour illustrer ce qui rend la cuisine espagnole unique : des recettes simples préparées avec des ingrédients de la plus haute qualité.
À votre dernier arrêt, vous aurez droit à un repas assis dans un endroit local datant du début du 20e siècle. Offrez-vous une sélection classique de plats catalans tels que des croquettes et des cannellonis accompagnés de vin local, et complétez le tout avec un délicieux dessert traditionnel.

My husband, Will, and I signed up for this 3 1/2 hour tour at the last minute today - and have absolutely no regrets. Dom was a fantastic tour guide, giving us both detailed history of Spain over the past two centuries along with wonderful stories and tasty delicious tapas and copious Cava at three different establishments. The Gothic Quarter is beautiful, vibrant and fascinating, chock full of history which Dom illustrated superbly. We loved that he had a relationship with the families that were long-time owners of these historic restaurants. He is incredibly knowledgeable and affable. Alas, we did get hit by a soccer ball in one of the old squares, but no one was injured! We highly recommend this tour, for the tapas, history, camaraderie and fun.

We had a fabulous tapas history tour with Alex M! We were a private group of four couples and just had a blast. What can I say? The things he pointed out, we would have maybe wandered through those areas, but we wouldn't have known what to look for. The highlight was definitely the food and the way he explained and narrated over the food and drinks as we were having them. He was so fun, so charismatic, so personable, and our whole group just loved every single second of drinking and eating in his presence! It brought us all closer together, gave us a little break from having to plan what we were going to do, and was just so informative.

We were fortunate to have Ariana as our guide for the Barcelona Tapas, Taverns & History Tour, and even more fortunate when it became an impromptu private tour since we were the only guests that day. This was especially appreciated because my mom is 79 years old, and Ariana was able to adjust the pace slightly to make the experience comfortable without ever making it feel rushed. Ariana struck the perfect balance between sharing Barcelona's history and introducing us to incredible food and drinks. We were fully engaged throughout the tour, and everything we tried was so good that we returned to several of the same places later that week. She also provided excellent recommendations during and after the tour, which helped us make the most of our time in Barcelona. It's clear that Ariana genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shines through in every part of the experience. I highly recommend the Barcelona Tapas, Taverns & History Tour with Devour Tours, especially if you have the opportunity to tour with Ariana. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Andrea was an excellent guide - we left with a much better understanding of the local history and culture as well as regional cuisine which was different than we thought! No paella or sangria here, instead it was authentic local dishes and drinks. I highly recommend this tour!
