Cette visite est parfaite pour les voyageurs qui souhaitent vivre une expérience locale! Rencontrez votre expert bilingue local et découvrez ce que c'est que de faire partie de la communauté à Florence ! Lors de notre premier arrêt, nous ferons le plein avec un peu de café italien. Découvrez notre culture du café de première main et découvrez pourquoi il est si important dans notre routine quotidienne. Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers le marché local animé pour découvrir les produits de saison, rencontrer des bouchers et des pêcheurs locaux et, bien sûr, faire une autre délicieuse dégustation. En continuant, nous nous promènerons dans le centre-ville, en nous arrêtant dans quelques boutiques familiales différentes pour goûter à certains plats traditionnels, notamment la cuisine de rue florentine, les sucreries toscanes, l'huile d'olive, la viande, les fromages, la truffe, le balsamique vieilli, le vin, et beaucoup plus! Terminez la visite avec un délicieux favori local, une glace riche et crémeuse! Cette visite à pied comprendra 5-6 arrêts et 10 dégustations !

Itinéraire
Nous commencerons dans le quartier très local de Sant' Ambrogio. Ici, nous visiterons quelques petites boutiques différentes pour goûter aux spécialités locales. Nos dégustations tout au long de la visite incluent tout, du cantucci, du coccoli, de la pizette, des viandes, des fromages, de l'huile d'olive, de la truffe et bien plus encore !
Après quelques dégustations dans le quartier de Sant 'Ambrogio, nous ferons ensuite une belle promenade dans le centre-ville en tournant et en tournant dans les rues locales pour entrer dans un autre quartier local.
Profitez d'une vue sur le Ponte Vecchio alors que nous poursuivons notre visite de dégustation!

I just went to find Christy's tour information for a friend and realized that I never wrote a review. I've been on a bunch of food tours over the years and this was one of my favorites. Even in a city crowded with tourists like Florence, you get a sense of how the locals live and eat. Christy is lovely and the food was great. Overall it was a fabulous experience.

Our guide was Danilo who did a fantastic job of showing us some of the less touristy sides of Florence. He had a great relationship with the venues he took us to and it felt like a really special event. Danilo himself spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable (although it wasn’t a historical tour) and was super friendly. We learned lots and it definitely enriched our trip. We would definitely recommend him to friends. The tour wasn’t too long, in terms of distance. We made a slight mistake in walking to the start of the tour from our hotel, about an hour’s walk away, so we’re relieved not to be walking 20,000 steps across Florence.

We had a wonderful time with Christy. The food was well-paced and consistently delicious. The samples were small at each location, and all thoughtfully planned to showcase seasonal fruits and fresh ingredients. We appreciated the fact that we were not so stuffed that we could enjoy the food at each stop. We would absolutely do this again!

The guide was great. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and gave us a good insight into life in Florence from a local point of view. Was a casual pleasant walk around the old town. We weren’t very hungry so she adapted the tour to us quite well…but we could have done with more than 1 glass of wine however !

We were a group of 3 on this tour with Christy. We especially enjoyed her perspective as being raised in the U.S. but living in Italy for the past 10 years. She could communicate very naturally as both an American and a Native to Florence. The number of stops and variety of tastes made this tour very worthwhile, as well as the starting point near a fresh market just outside of the center of the city where you then proceed to walk toward the main center of Florence, made this an ideal tasting tour. We especially were impressed by the hidden gems like the sandwich shop and the wine cellar. I would highly recommend, especially as one of the first activities as a good orientation to the city.
