If you are a foodie, this visit isn’t for you. It’s very much focused on the history vs on the culinary delicacies of the city. We didn’t discuss the food much and one of the stops was an enoteca chain. It didn’t feel well chosen to represent Torino and it’s rich story. I wrote to the company a couple of days ago to tell them that I was disappointed, but they didn’t reply.

We had a wonderful tour with Anna. Beautiful food and wine with lots of history and local recommendations thrown in too. A really lovely way to explore Turin. Anna is a very knowledgeable guide.
Fabrissa did a fantastic job communicating history of Turin through a walk among historical sites while also sharing the food of piedmont. Delicious, interesting, fun
Marta was an outstanding guide for our awesome food tour in Turin. The food was delicious, the commentary was excellent and we learned so much! We could have done without the third place as it was a long walk in the heat, food wasn’t as great, but we loved the commentary on the way and way back. Was an excellent tour all around!
Anna, has so much knowledge of the area and you can tell by the passion she exudes towards not only the foods, but the history as well. One of the kindest and helpful food tour guides we have had. (This is our 4th in multiple countries) don’t hesitate booking with Anna!!!!!
We absolutely loved this tour! It was such a unique way of exploring the cuisine of Turin and learning from a local. We got a taste of all the best foods, wines, and treats, which will help me remember the trip forever because we learned the cultural importance and history of each menu item. Carolina was not only an expert on wines and foods, but she also gave a great walking tour of the city as we visited each location. She was such a lovely person and brought so much passion into her tour and we are incredibly grateful to have had this experience!
Our tour was hugely enjoyable. We met our guide, Anna, in a piazza very close to our accommodation, in the city centre. We were joined by four other people. The tour took us for a glass of some local wine, then a pasta dish, then a platter of local foods in a traditional restaurant, then some delicious chocolates at a very upmarket cafe in a beautiful arcade and finally the best gelato we have eaten in the whole of Italy. At every stop, each person's special dietary requirements were met and water plus extra wine was provided. The whole tour was a delight. Anna gave us lots of information about the history and traditions of the city and explained how food fitted into and contributed to that. It was detailed and always interesting and engaging. The whole experience took about 4 hours 30 minutes, finishing very close to our starting point. We all parted as good friends. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon in a magnificent city. Thank you Anna for all your research, planning, care and engagement.
Superb experience! Anna was attentive to our desires. We discovered the gastronomy of Turin thanks to this tour. Nothing to say, everything was perfect!
We enjoyed the food tour enormously; we learnt much more about Turin and the food was excellent
I enjoyed immensely the food tour around Turin during the second week of June this year. Our guide was Anna. She understands and enjoys explaining the types, history, and the current and past use of the various wines, dishes, and sweet things that Turin and indeed Piedmont has to offer. She is an excellent hostess who enabled us (a group of strangers from different countries) to relax and enjoy exploring with each other the excellent wine and food at the various stops in the city. And yet she kept us on schedule and interested in the many many aspects of food and wine in Piedmont. I appreciated very much her ability to explain things in detail and yet not loose the attention of those who are not "foodies". For me the use of examples from her growing up in Turin brought to life the changes in the types and habits relating to food and wine in Turin and indeed Piedmont. Her knowledge of the development of the wines was a great introduction to me of the extensive local wines. Her generosity extended to answering the weird and wonderful questions that people from different backgrounds and outlooks ask when understanding life in a foreign place. Indeed she helped and suggested to us as individuals, how to make our stays in Turin more enjoyable and memorable. A veritable mine of knowledge about Turin and Piedmont, a font of wisdom in the complex world of Italian Food and wine, and a generous spirit as a guide & hostess is my abiding memory of Anna and her tour around Turin. Anna, her tour, and a group of strangers bonding over food and wine in Turin made my stay memorable and keeps me smiling as I return to work and remember that week in June.
