Votre expérience commence dans la plus ancienne boulangerie de la ville avec un échantillon de gâteaux emblématiques et de pâtisseries sucrées, avant de poursuivre vers une bottega locale pour une dégustation guidée de vinaigre balsamique authentique et vieilli, l'un des trésors culinaires les plus fiers de Modène. À l’intérieur du Mercato Albinelli, vous savourerez plusieurs âges du célèbre Parmigiano Reggiano, suivi d’un avant-goût du pain rond apprécié de la ville avec du pesto local, parfaitement accompagné de mousseux Lambrusco. Un plat classique de pâtes modénoises vous attend dans un restaurant historique, complété par un vin local distinctif, avant de terminer avec de la gelato artisanale d'un magasin de quartier préféré et un délicieux plat secret, révélé exclusivement à nos clients.

Nous commençons notre délicieuse visite gastronomique dans un fascinant point de rencontre local, où vous apprendrez l'histoire de l'un des ténors lyriques les plus emblématiques d'Italie, Luciano Pavarotti.
Ensuite, nous explorons l’un des trésors les plus célèbres de Modène : Aceto Balsamico di Modena. Nous dégusterons dans une Bottega familiale, découvrant l’artisanat derrière ce produit de renommée mondiale.
Nous nous dirigeons ensuite vers le Mercato Albinelli, le marché couvert historique de Modène fondé en 1931. Avec environ 65 stands proposant des produits frais locaux, c'est l'endroit idéal pour découvrir le fromage apprécié de Modène et son pain plat rond traditionnel - et apprendre comment les habitants les apprécient.

Notre promenade se poursuit sur l'ancienne Piazza Grande, la place principale historique de Modène et classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Entourée par la cathédrale et la tour Ghirlandina, cette place médiévale est pleine d'ambiance et de vie locale. Ici, nous nous arrêterons dans une trattoria traditionnelle unique pour déguster un plat de pâtes classiques du Modène.
Nous terminons la visite sur une note sucrée avec une gelato artisanale au GIOELIA Cremeria local.

A gem in the heart of Modena. Roberta's passion for her home town really enhanced the experience as she lead us through the city enjoying a sampling of local treats and local lore as we went. Some highlights include PDO parmeggiano reggiano cheese, PDO Balsamic di Modena, Tigelli, hand-made pasta (gramigna as well as tortelloni w/ ricotta & spinach w/ sage butter sauce), local wines and gelato. Not to be missed!

The tour with Stefy was incredible. We visited a variety of lovely shops, markets and restaurants. Stefy is a very warm, personable and enjoyable person to be with and she shared information about the local cuisine, culture and history with fantastic enthusiasm to keep us all engaged. Enjoyable and informative tour. A fair amount of food but spread out over a few hours. Food was excellent, cheese and balsamic vinegar tasting was unique and informative. The hostess Roberta was charming, and enthusiastically informed us about Modena and the local food. Would recommend this tour.

Stefy was amazing. She was so great with our kids, patient, and showed us all the high points of the city. She even gave us tips about what places to see and do around the city after the tour. I cannot recommend her enough, you have to book this tour with Stefy!

The Modena secret food tour was spectacular super food tour, the food was amazing, cakes , pasta was superb , different types of bread, balsamic vinegar , ect, all very fresh and homemade, ..the City of Modena Is a very pretty Town and the tour guide Roberta was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about the food and Modena, have a local guide like Roberta was superb , I would say more the 5 stars tour!
