Visite gastronomique de Kyoto de 10 dégustations avec Wagyu, Mochi et plus de secrets

Description

My husband and I really enjoyed our food tour with Shinki. We started with rice and pork cutlet in a small restaurant then headed to the famous food market for more, and ended in the Gion district for a few local specialities. Shinki gave us a listing of some of his restaurant recommendations (we tried his Ramen one - it was great) and was ever so nice and helpful. Highly recommend this tour.
We're grateful you shared your experience with us! It's great to know your time together was one to remember. We hope to see you again with Secret Food Tours.
Shinki was a great guide. Very informative with his information about Kyoto, food and sharing is interests. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

We had such a great time on the Kyoto food tour with Miyu—it was one of the highlights of our trip! The meeting point was easy to find, and everything started on time. We were lucky to end up with a private tour since the other guests cancelled, which made the experience feel more relaxed and personal. Miyu was a great guide— friendly, warm, and easy to chat with. She shared interesting facts about Kyoto, local food, and simple Japanese phrases that were really helpful during our trip. We did the tour on our second day in Kyoto, so her tips and recommendations were very useful. The food was amazing from start to finish, especially the first stop and the mochi. There was plenty to eat, and we left very full and happy—definitely come hungry! Overall, this is a fun way to experience Kyoto. We’d highly recommend it!
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that the tour was a memorable part of your visit and that you enjoyed everything along the route. We appreciate your support and hope you'll join Secret Food Tours again.
We had a great time on this tour! We were lucky because our small group were the only ones signed up for the tour, so we had almost a private experience, which made it a good value for the price. We were able to try lots of different kinds of food and drink, while also seeing aspects of Kyoto that we would likely have missed otherwise. It was nice to have a guide through the crowds on our first day in Kyoto. We had a nice mix of "tasting" portions as well as more substantial servings that left us full but not too full since it was quite a hot day and a good amount of walking. Yuma was a fantastic tour guide--personable and knowledgeable. He is fluent in English, and was really great with explaining things to us and dealing with our questions. I would recommend this tour as a fun thing for a small group of adults to do while in Kyoto!
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad you were able to enjoy both the food and the stories that make this city special. Thank you again, and we hope you'll join Secret Food Tours again soon!
Incredible food tour!! Shinki took us to lots of different restaurants with different types of delicious food - many of which, we would never of thought to try ourselves. We definitely walked away feeling nicely full. Shinki was knowledgable about food, sake and Kyoto and was also very kind and great to talk to. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time with Miyu showing us around a lot of restaurants in Kyoto and we tried a lot of absolutely delicious food! Also we learned some great things about food etiquette and customs, e.g. how to thank the cook(s) for the food. When the tour sadly had to come to an end (we were completely full by that time, though) Miyu gave us a ton of additional recommendations and places for us to go to later for even more deliciousness :) Again, thank you so much for this tour, Miyu!
We really appreciate you sharing this. It’s great to know the tour stood out during your time there. We’d love to have you back whenever Secret Food Tours calls again!
We greatly enjoyed this food tour. The pace was appropiate and everything we tasted was sooo tasty. Shinki, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable and he gave us the right amount of explanations, not only about the food, but also about Kyoto and Japanese culture and way of life, in general. We warmly recommend this experience!
