Description
Retrouvez votre chauffeur à votre hôtel pour un départ à 9 h ou à 14 h, puis profitez du trajet de 15 minutes jusqu'aux grottes de Batu. Une fois sur place, gravissez les 272 marches menant à l'imposante statue du dieu Karthikeyan avant de pénétrer dans la plus vaste grotte du complexe. À l'intérieur, vous découvrirez des sanctuaires hindous et une série de temples troglodytes attirant des milliers de fidèles venus du monde entier ; à l'extérieur, vous pourrez apercevoir les singes qui peuplent les lieux. Après votre visite des grottes de Batu, vous vous rendrez au temple Thean Hou, un haut lieu du bouddhisme dédié à Mazu, la déesse chinoise de la mer. C'est également l'endroit idéal pour une pause gourmande, le temple étant entouré de nombreux stands de cuisine malaisienne et chinoise. Nous passerons ensuite par Little India, où la communauté indienne s'approvisionne en produits alimentaires et articles religieux, puis nous irons à Chinatown (Petaling Street) pour faire quelques achats de vêtements et de chaussures. Enfin, nous ferons un arrêt photo aux tours jumelles (Petronas Towers). Cette excursion de 4 heures s'achèvera par le retour à votre hôtel.

Le trajet pittoresque de 15 minutes s'achève aux grottes de Batu. Ces formations calcaires naturelles abritent des sanctuaires hindous dédiés à diverses divinités. Votre guide vous éclairera sur les profondes racines hindoues du pays tandis que vous gravirez les 272 marches menant à la statue dorée de Lord Karthikeyan. Une fois au sommet, vous vous dirigerez vers la « Cathedral Cave » (grotte de la Cathédrale), la plus vaste du complexe. Votre guide vous expliquera la portée de ce lieu, qui renferme des sanctuaires hindous aux détails minutieux.
Après les grottes de Batu, le chauffeur vous conduira au temple Thean Hou, l'un des plus beaux temples chinois de Kuala Lumpur. Ce temple emblématique, qui compte six niveaux, a été achevé en 1987 et officiellement inauguré en 1989. Construit par la communauté hainanaise de Kuala Lumpur, l'édifice est dédié à la déesse Tian Hou.
Vous traverserez Little India, un quartier de Brickfields réputé pour ses rues colorées, sa cuisine savoureuse et ses boutiques uniques.
Après Little India, vous ferez une courte visite à Chinatown. Le quartier compte des dizaines de restaurants et d'étals proposant des spécialités locales telles que le Hokkien mee, l'ikan bakar (poisson grillé), l'Asam Laksa et les nouilles au curry. Les commerçants y sont principalement chinois, mais on y trouve également des vendeurs indiens, malais et bangladais.
Le Central Market est un marché incontournable de Kuala Lumpur où vous pouvez acheter des souvenirs locaux et de l'artisanat malaisien pour vos proches.

We had a wonderful half day tour in KL. Batu Caves, Temples and Little India. Our tour guide is Ms Kalai, always smiling and accomodating. Ms Kalai is very knowledgeable and introduced KL places of interest, culture and history. My boy loves it and especially Kuala Lumpur 'Zero'. I went on the Ivy holiday tour and my driver and guide, Bella, was a good driver and a very helpful and helpful guide in Malacca. It was great. The lunch was delicious and I had plenty of free time, so it was a fun day trip. Bella is willing to accept sudden drop-off point changes

Relaxed and comfortable experience with tour guide Kalai, and good communication to sort out the pick up time and address. Tour is two people max so very easy, much better than a bus. Plenty of information, and time to look around the different stops. Batu Caves is a must-see, best done in the morning
