We recently took the Radius Tours Neuschwanstein Castle tour from Munich with Werner as our guide, and we had a very good experience. Werner was very well informed about Neuschwanstein Castle, King Ludwig II, and the surrounding area. During the trip to and from the castle, he shared helpful information about the region, which made the travel time more interesting and gave us better context before arriving. The tour itself was organized well, and Werner provided an informative and enjoyable experience. His knowledge of the castle and the history behind King Ludwig added a lot to the visit. We appreciated the tour and would recommend Radius Tours and Werner to anyone interested in visiting Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich.
Great tour especially the tour leader Anna who delivered a very concise but fun history about the builder, political scene impacting the castle construction
Adrian, we quite agree that Anna is special, glad you enjoyed your day at the castle.
While the trip itself was amazing, the guide Anna was even better. She was so knowledgeable and made it a point to know everyone on the trip personally. Thank you for helping us make this a memorable trip.
Glad Anna was able to make your visit to the castle all the more special, and thanks for the 5 star review!
Title: Disappointing experience due to inflexible ticket policy I arrived at Neuschwanstein Castle on time with a valid ticket, but due to internet problems I could not immediately show the ticket on my phone. Instead of trying to find a solution – such as looking up my reservation by name or allowing a short delay to restore the connection – staff simply refused to let me enter. As a paying visitor who was there on time, this felt very unfair and unhelpful. Because of this inflexible and customer‑unfriendly approach, my visit was ruined and I cannot recommend this attraction.
Hello, you have reviewed a tour on the wrong portal. We have absoloutly nothing to do with your experience, and would respectfully ask you to take down this review. If you go to the castle again, please book a tour with us, and you will not have such problems. Safe travels.
Such an awesome tour! Mark was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this day trip. The AC on the bus was great as well. Learned so much about the castle and its history on this tour.
Olivia, thanks for letting us know how much you enjoyed your tour to the castle with Mark and Radius Tours.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with Radius tours. The excursion was very well organised and our guide, Werner, was warm, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you are staying in Munich or the local vicinity and have a day to spare.
Tracey, glad you had a great day at the castle with Werner and Radius Tours.
Leon was a great enthusiastic host and guide. He gave us some helpful insights. The bus coach was very comfortable and it had air conditioning!! The time went by very quickly! There is a lot to see there. I wish I knew in advance about swimming in the Alpsee.
Kara, great to hear you had a fun day at the castle with Leon.
The best part of this tour was the transportation and the skip the line feature. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke while we were traveling.
Lisa, thanks for taking the time to review your tour to the castle with Radius Tours.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. It was dream like traveling through the countryside of Bavaria and the castle site and tour exceeded expectations. Walking involved but several alternatives provided that allows everyone to enjoy the entire tour. Tour guide A+
Eileen, thanks for taking the time to review your tour to the castle with Radius Tours, glad it was A+
Great trip. Bus ride was smooth and Thomas filled the time with a lot of background and stories - he was very knowledgeable on any topic we threw at him! It would have been nice to get the exact breakdown of the schedule ahead of time so we could plan a bit better (knowing when a bathroom break might happen and that there wasn’t a chance to buy coffee/snack, to consider bringing a bathing suit for the lake, etc), especially as this was provided while on the bus via QR code with no WiFi, meaning we couldn’t access it ourselves as we didn’t have cellular. I also wish we went into the castle earlier so we had more time to explore the town afterwards. All in all, great trip and wonderful tour guide.
This is such and excellent review and recommendation. Thanks for joining us. Radius Tours
