Au cours de cette visite, vous marcherez, accompagné d'un guide local, dans le quartier de "La Latina" pour découvrir son histoire à travers certaines des tavernes les plus authentiques qui subsistent encore à Madrid. Notre objectif est que vous ayez l'opportunité de jouer à être local tout en dégustant la cuisine locale. Pour cela, nous vous invitons à parcourir avec nous les rues de ce quartier emblématique. De cette façon, vous pourrez connaître notre culture, ses coutumes et ses dictons et découvrir la véritable magie de la vie dans cette grande ville. Venez avec une envie de manger, nous vous assurons que vous ressortirez satisfaits de ce rendez-vous !

Itinéraire
Au début de la visite, nous parlerons un peu de l'histoire de Madrid, de ce qu'est le Madrid des Autrichiens et de la manière dont l'histoire a influencé la cuisine locale. Notre objectif est qu'ils découvrent un Madrid authentique, un Madrid local.
Le quartier "La Latina", un quartier traditionnel, accueille aujourd'hui beaucoup de tourisme mais si vous savez chercher, vous pourrez trouver les meilleurs endroits. Tavernes traditionnelles où vous pourrez déguster les tapas les plus typiques de cette ville. Nous ferons des arrêts dans différents endroits pour goûter la cuisine locale.
Le "Mercado de San Miguel" est aujourd'hui le marché le plus célèbre de Madrid. Sa visite est un incontournable si c'est votre première fois dans cette ville. Et si vous le connaissez déjà, cela ne fera jamais de mal de le visiter à nouveau.
Au cours de notre visite, nous ferons un arrêt sur la Plaza Mayor. La place la plus emblématique de Madrid. Nous parlerons ici un peu de l'importance de cette place pour la ville et son histoire.
Notre dernier restaurant est situé dans la rue des Brodeurs, tout près de la Plaza Mayor. Là, nous dégusterons les dernières tapas que nous avons sélectionnées pour cette visite et au départ, nous terminerons la visite.

Our guide Maya did an amazing job. The first stop on the trip The family restaurant Casa Paco was not a good experience, the staff did not greet and it seemed almost as if they had forgotten we came, we were served red wine in wet glasses that were not washed off properly. The other 3 stops on the trip were ok

This was a super fun food tour. Our guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and how it is prepared. She knew about the history of the area and the buildings. There were 3 different food and wine stops and each was very different, but very good. We enjoyed the walk through some neighborhoods we had not been before. The tapas all were so good, as well as the wines. We were able to taste the Spanish vermut, which was very different for us. A super nice evening with good food and a very good guide.

This was hands down one of the best experiences I had in Madrid. The food was absolutely incredible, and Maia’s passion for Spanish cuisine made it even more enjoyable. We visited local spots I would’ve never found on my own, and the service throughout the tour was top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
