I had a wonderful time - Alexandre is a great Guide who has a lot to tell about Santiago and Tapas if only you are willing to listen. I visit Spain since a few years already but even I discovered a few new tapas and drinks that day. The group was small that day but that made me enjoy it even more. You get to know people from all over the world. It was a very social and delicious evening and we even had the option to enjoy some live music in a bar together afterwards! I cannot recommend the Tapas Tour and Alexandre as a Guide enough, thank you very much for making my arrival in Santiago unforgettable! :)
A great tour! Alexandre was a fantastic guide who shared so much cool history about Santiago and the tapas culture, while treating us to delicious food and wine. Definitely great value for money, I left absolutely full!
This is an amazing experience! Alex was an incredible guide! He brought us to three great local Tapas bars in Santiago and provided us with interesting tidbits of information about the history and culture of Galicia, Santiago de Compostela, and the Camino de Santiago! Highly recommend going on this tour!
We are a large 3-generation family group from Texas. We had fun. Alex explained everything clearly. We particularly enjoyed the Angry Tiger mussels and all the local beverages. Walking through old town was fun by itself.
My family really enjoyed the tapas food tour in Santiago with our guide, Alex. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the local food, The tour took us to several excellent spots that we would not have found on our own. Alex was so welcoming and shared interesting stories about Santiago and his life. His English was excellent, which really made us feel comfortable. The food selections gave us an overall introduction to the area. His knowledge of the wines in the area allowed for new choices. I highly recommend this tour!
The tapas tour is very interesting. In addition to tasting local products, Alex, the guide, shares historical facts and curiosities about the city; his passion for Galicia is evident. It is definitely a great activity to spend a good afternoon.
Excellent tour and delicious tapas! Besides the history of tapas, Alex shared interesting details about Santiago and took us to a live music concert!
A walk through the old city visiting the market, specialist shops and bars. Experiencing local food and drinks and learning about Galician history and culture.
Our guide put a lot of effort into this tour. I admire his entrepreneurial spirit. He gave us lots of interesting facts about Santiago DC. Food and drink were plentiful. It was a very pleasant experience after walking the Camino
This was a really enjoyable walking tour around the old streets of Santiago de Compostela with our wonderful guide, Alex. By the end of the evening we were replete with food, wine and a a better understanding of Galician cuisine and culture. At the conclusion of the tour Alex took us to a bar for some live music (this was an optional extra, not included in the tour). The musician on this occasion was James, a very talented guitar player who was joined for a couple of numbers by the owner of the bar who turned out to have a lovely singing voice. All in all, a lovely evening in Santiago.
