I joined a guided tour of the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral yesterday and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The cathedral itself is stunning, but what truly made the visit special was our guide, Irene. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history and shared everything in a clear, engaging way that kept us interested throughout. Beyond her expertise, Irene created such a warm and friendly atmosphere that made the whole group feel comfortable and involved. It didn’t feel like just a tour, but a genuinely enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting Santiago—it’s a fantastic way to fully appreciate the cathedral.
Our guide Maria was so knowledgeable and able to bring us together and enjoy a 21/2 hour guided tour where the time passed so quickly. She explained everything clearly and in context.
