Rendez-vous à la plantation historique Destrehan sur Old River Road, en Louisiane, pour une visite guidée. Au cours de votre visite de Destrehan Plantation, des guides professionnels vous feront revivre les histoires de générations qui ont vécu et travaillé sur cette terre. Vos guides partageront avec vous tous les détails de l’histoire de ce manoir. Vous entendrez également des récits sur la vie de ses propriétaires et de ses esclaves. Ils vous parleront également de son architecture de la Renaissance grecque, merveilleusement restaurée.
Glissez confortablement dans les marais, dans des baies isolées, pendant que votre capitaine de bateau à air professionnel vous parlera de la faune et de la flore fascinantes du marais. Tenez bon lorsque vous alternez entre des rafales à grande vitesse et une croisière douce! Il y aura de nombreux arrêts avec des opportunités de photos fantastiques. Vous pourrez même apercevoir un pygargue à tête blanche, voir des bébés alligators, nourrir un poisson-chat géant ou rencontrer un nutria face à face!

We were picked up on time at our hotel. Our guide, Rene, explained our schedule and gave us a guided tour through New Orleans as he drove us to Ragin Cajun Airboats. The airboat tour was about 90 minutes and our guide explained the bayou habitat where we had many encounters with alligators and birds. We cruised slowly to see everything but also had several exhilarating high speed runs. Then it was a short drive to the Destrehan Plantation for an interesting and informative tour. On our way back to our hotel Rene told us stories about New Orleans as only a native can. He was a wonderful guide and we were all very happy with this tour.

Very nice tour guide. The pick up and drop off process was seamless. The airboat ride was fun and the guide was informative, funny and kind. We say many gators, big and small. They supply ear protection as it is loud. The tour of the plantation was sobering and interesting. The guide was knowledgeable. He had done a lot of research about the people who lived and worked there.

We love the tour! It was great to get out of the city a bit & spend some time in the swamp & seeing the nature there. Lots of gators! The plantation tour was informative & all the guides were great. Highly recommend!

Very good tour if you are in New Orleans. We left 11am from the hotel door and 4:30 we were back after a great adventure through the swamps and a moment of cultural and historical encounter on the plantations. Our guide Rene, the most!

10/10 Would book again! Isabella was super sweet gave us so much history and information about the city and was on time and communicative regarding pick up & drop off. The airboat guy was hilarious and was able to tell us some information about the swamp and showed us pictures of the alligators because it was too cold to see them (but we knew that so it was okay)
