Yonna was a wonderful host and had an interesting range of food and was very knowledgeable. The drink was brilliant too!!! It is well worth booking and she was very helpful I would also recommend you book it at the beginning of your stay as she is a useful person to get tips off of.

After a little confusion over the time and date of the booking and then a hiccup with instructions to get into the venue, the actual experience was great. A warm welcome, excellent array of charcuterie and very palatable wine, all aided by a host who went above and beyond to help with recommendations for sites to visit, restaurants to eat in and wines to look out for. For us a very fruitful first evening activity which has set up the rest of the weekend in Sofia.

We had a quite random experience at this tasting. We got 4 types of cuts and 1 cheese with far too much of each, no story or serious representation of them what so ever and they were not represented by the images selling this tasting with jams, olives etc. Not even worth half the price it cost, very nice female host with some facts about the city but else this experience seemed like a cheap way to trick tourists for money. We walked to a skybar that was recommended after, but it was not open. If you have been to tastings of different kinds earlier like us, we can safely recommend to avoid spending your money on this and for the host we can recommend more types of cuts with less of each, olives, jams etc like the images that sell the tasting, represent them and not interupt with people walking in and out through the session.
Firstly - thank you for booking with us! It seems you have a serious mental problems so I can suggest you seek some medical attention soon! 1. You booked a meat tasting and when you arrived you were expecting unlimited wine tasting (we do wine tasting but its not the tasting you have booked) 2. When you go to the supermarket to buy tomatoes and you decide to do the shopping with eyes closed. After you pay, you open your eyes and you realize you bought cucumbers instead of tomatoes. What do you do? You file a complain at the super market and you give them bad review because you bought cucumbers but you wanted to buy tomatoes :) (this is really funny actually and I don't really know how you manage to travel at all and go through the airports with such mindset). Be careful next time when you want to visit Greece for example not to end up in Alaska or maybe you will again blame the airline company and file a complain and give them bad review :). 3. What you paid and booked is exactly what you got (I also don't understand what kind of jams you are talking about :). You eat meat with jam :)? 3. To make you happy we decided to give you a lot of free wine so technically you had two tastings for the price of one (12 glasses of free wine) 4. You had a dedicated guide during the tasting and other people can walk in and out as many times as they want, unless we do the tasting in your house where you can define your own rules. We also gave you a super special attention for your group and it was like a private tasting for your group only. Do you have an idea how much it cost to have a private session and how much you actually paid us? 5. You were so lost in space and you even lost your phone in a 15 square meters room for only an hour and a half 6. We were also so nice with you and we gave you the lost phone back right away Normal people will usually appreciate such gestures and they will give us maximum stars and big tip but apparently you are not one them :). Based on what you wrote us here and based on what we did for you, I can only say you are not normal people and you will be in a tourist trap inside your head your whole life! I can only wish you best of luck and enjoy your next tourist trap on your next destination :)!
Fantastic experience! Rado and Joanna took fantastic care of us, including providing us with a generous plate of food, some delicious wines, and even a lovely finishing bonus of rakia. They were super knowledgeable and kind and had some great tips on visiting Sofia and all of Bulgaria. FYI, the Prime Cuts tour is pretty much a full meal of (strikingly delicious) meat and cheese with a very small selection of wine. If you want a wider selection of wine and a smaller snack, consider the wine tour which I would also expect to be excellent.

Tasty meats, wonderful wine, gracious host and lots of great conversation. I would recommend it to meat lovers at the start of their Sofia/Bulgaria adventure to get tips about the best things to do next!

I was very satisfied with the selection of traditional Bulgarian cured meats and cheeses, I live in Sofia but I have never found such good things. I went back today to try the Bulgari desserts and was super satisfied. Cool environment and above all a very courteous host. Recommended if you are in Sofia, you will not find homemade and so good desserts.

Absolutely recommend this activity! Phenomenal regional meats, cheeses, and wine. Plus the host was so kind and full of information and great recommendations for what to do, see, and eat while here. Conveniently located right in the city center and close to the metro. Only wish I booked it earlier in my trip ❤️

This was my introduction to sofia, as I had just arrived a few hours prior. Rado was fantastic. He runs a hostel and I met him at his bar area. A very cool spot w some unique artistic decor. The prime cuts and cheese were beyond amazing. The spicy sauce was so good I ended up buying his last bottle from him. He was an amazing host and gave me many enjoyable facts about bulgarian cuisine and some reccomendations on places to try. Highly reccomend this tour and I'm sure any other tours that Rado runs is also A+++!!!!
