Si vous voulez mieux comprendre les Balkans avec toute leur complexité, leur riche histoire et leur mélange coloré de cultures et d'habitudes différentes, nous vous recommandons de visiter Nis avec nous. Au cours de cette excursion d'une journée, vous traverserez l'histoire avec le guide professionnel de votre guide. Notre voyage dans le temps commencera à l'époque romaine, lorsque Nis donna au monde un grand homme: l'empereur romain Constantin le Grand. Nous continuerons ensuite à travers le moyen âge et la période de domination ottomane qui a laissé des constructions comme la forteresse de Nis et la tour du crâne - un symbole de la lutte pour la liberté et l'indépendance des Ottomans. En fin de compte, nous ferons attention à l'histoire moderne et à la période d'occupation nazie de l'ex-Yougoslavie, en visitant le camp de concentration nazi. Bien sûr, après toutes les impressions que vous aurez, il sera temps de vous reposer. Vous aurez la chance de goûter la célèbre cuisine serbe, l'une des plus délicieuses des Balkans.

Votre guide viendra vous chercher à votre hébergement à Sofia à 08h30. Après environ 2 heures de route, nous atteindrons notre première vue: le parc archéologique de Medijana, une résidence impériale romaine, actuellement fermée pour cause de rénovation.
Notre prochain arrêt sera la tour du crâne, également appelée Cale kula. La tour est maintenant un musée dédié aux Bulgares et aux Serbes qui ont pris part à la révolte contre l'empire ottoman. Il a été construit à partir des Turcs et construit avec les crânes des rébellions tuées. L'idée de cet acte était d'avertir les autres de ce qui se passerait s'ils se révoltaient à nouveau.
Le camp de concentration nazi - construit en 1941 et célèbre pour le succès de l'évasion des prisonniers au début de 1942. Le camp est parfaitement préservé et n'a jamais été endommagé.
Après cela, nous continuerons vers la vieille ville où nous visiterons la forteresse de Nis. Nous y verrons des ruines de l'antique Nisus et de la période ottomane ultérieure. Nous allons faire une promenade et ensuite profiter de la nourriture locale traditionnelle.

This was my second trip with this company and it was excellent! I forgot the name of the guide (trip was done on 14 July 2026), but he did such an excellent job! Pick up was on time, the van was comfortable, and toilet breaks were scheduled as needed. The guide did a great job explaining all sites visited that include Constantine’s Villa, Skull Tower, one concentration camp, Nis Fortress, and the city center. Thank you for a great trip!
It was an excellent day learning about some history of Nis. It was a long day of driving, but very with it.

Our guided tour to Nis with Tuni was fantastic! The small group size of just five guests and comfortable, air-conditioned transportation made for a relaxed journey. Tuni was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a hassle-free border crossing and comfort stops along the way. We toured the Ottoman Skull Tower, Constantine’s Mediana ruins, and the former Nazi concentration camp, followed by a great walking tour and free time to explore Nis. A highly recommended day trip for history lovers!
Nis is interesting and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide Lubo was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After a previous accident, I'm not a fan of motorways and the speed limits in Bulgaria are higher than what I'm used to but Lubo was a great driver and I felt very safe in his car. We had long queues at the borders but he kept us in good spirits. I would avoid this tour during the summer holidays as I believe the border queues are rediculous.

This was a great day trip and definitely worth doing if you want to get out of Sofia and see something completely different. Our day started with a bit of unexpected circumstances when our driver had a medical emergency. Thankfully, the company handled the situation incredibly well. They made sure their driver received the help he needed and quickly arranged another driver so our trip could continue with very little delay. We really appreciated how professional and caring they were. Once we arrived, everything was exactly as described. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining the history and interesting facts along the way. He even gave us recommendations for places to eat, which was a nice bonus. It's a long day, but the scenery and experience make it absolutely worth it. We'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a taste of Serbia while in Sofia!
