Today was a spectacular experience; delicious wine, perfect bites and warm hostesses. We would recommend this tour * 1000. A really great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
The Tili vineyard tasting and tour was exceptional. A taxi was conveniently arranged for pick up and drop off from our hotel. We arrived to the tasting room where we were given generous samples of delicious wine made and bottled on site. They served an assortment of bruschette along with faro salad and meats and cheeses to complement the wine. We also sampled their balsamic and olive oil. Julia was our guide and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for an intimate Umbrian wine experience, this is for you!
We had a wonderful time. Maria and her crew took good care of us. They were very informative and the wine and the food was great. The tour of their facility was also good
Lara Tili was excellent host. The selection of food was great. Very good explanation of organic wine making process. Nice selection of wines for tasting.
Anna was very entertaining, gave us good information about organic wine and oil production which was interesting and not overwhelming as some yours can be. The wines were delicious, we were given five to try so no decision making and given lots of time to sit and savour. Loved it
We booked a tour of the Tili winery on our last day of our stay in Assisi. We were transported to the winery from our hotel and also later returned. The owner took us on a very informative tour explaining the process of the winemaking and the fact the entire process is all organic with no chemical additives. Every season they go through a 2 step process. First for the DOC and then for the organic. They also make olive oil. She had some in a vat and when she opened the cover it was the most amazing aroma of pure olive oil. We tasted all the wines offered White, Rosato, Pino Noir blend, and two additional red wines. We were served bruschetta, cheeses, bread and olive oil salad and biscotti at the end. The whole experience was so enjoyable and would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the Assisi vicinity and loves wine or would like to learn a little more about wine.
The food and the wine were excellent. The people were very friendly and accommodating. They should really only call this a wine tasting though as we did not tour the winery.
We booked this tour on the way to the airport and so glad I did. We had a delicious and delightful time touring the winery, finding out how they make the wine and olive oil and the organic methods used. The hostess was warm and inviting and it felt like I was visiting a friend’s house. Don’t miss this tour if you are in the Assisi area!
