Le parc du détroit de Magellan est une zone protégée de près de 250 hectares. L'objectif principal est la conservation et la diffusion du patrimoine naturel et historique qui s'y trouve. Les lieux d'intérêt dans le Parc sont : - Musée du détroit (Centre d'interprétation) : Sentinelle du paysage qui, sur ses 1 600 m2, abrite cafétéria, boutique, terrasse panoramique et échantillon d'interprétation et multimédia. - Site de MHN Fuerte Bulnes : D'une superficie de 4 hectares, il s'agit de la reconstruction historique de la première colonie chilienne sur le territoire. - Sentier de la Côte : Sentier de 1,5 kilomètres d'extension, de difficulté faible à moyenne qui traverse les forêts et les roqueríos autour du Fort. - Sentier de la Forêt du Vent : Sentier piétonnier de près de 300 mètres de long, de faible difficulté mène à l'endroit où l'on peut voir le passage des bateaux, des oiseaux et des baleines.
Le cimetière municipal de Punta Arenas, officiellement le cimetière municipal de Sara Braun, 1 est un cimetière de quatre hectares situé sur l'Avenida Bulnes, dans le secteur nord de la ville de la région de Magallanes, Chili. Son entrée est formée par un portique offert par la bienfaitrice Sara Braun, qui se termine par une place qui distribue les avenues de cyprès. Il a été déclaré Monument National dans la catégorie Monuments Historiques par le décret 499 du 26 novembre 2012. Diverses publications internationales l'ont catalogué comme l'un des plus beaux cimetières du monde.

Muñoz Gamero Square
Situé dans le palais de la famille Braun Menéndez, à l'intérieur vous pourrez visiter des collections de meubles et objets de l'âge d'or de Magallanes, une exposition historique et des expositions temporaires.
La visite commence après votre ramassage, et vous roulerez à 60 km au sud de la ville. Le parcours longe le détroit de Magellan pour observer une variété d'oiseaux marins : mouettes, caïques, ibis, cormorans et autres. Le trajet dure environ une heure. Votre première destination est le point de repère qui marque le centre géographique du Chili, où vous pouvez prendre des photos, puis continuer jusqu'à Fort Bulnes, à seulement un kilomètre du secteur. Après une heure à l'intérieur de ce fort, vous commencerez le retour, mais pas avant de visiter un autre site historique, Mansa, qui est situé à un kilomètre et demi de Fort Bulnes. Ici, vous visitez la ville Rey Don Felipe, fondée en 1584 par Don Pedro Sarmiento et renommée plus tard Puerto del Hambre. Vous pouvez également prendre des photos et apprendre l'histoire de ce lieu. Maintenant, revenez à la ville de Punta Arenas. Visit Punta Arenas, la ville la plus au sud du continent américain, est une promenade à travers l'histoire de la Patagonie. Bahía Mansa, et le seul abri naturel de la côte nord du détroit de Magellan, utilisé depuis l'Antiquité par les premiers habitants, nomades chasseurs-cueilleurs ancêtres des canoéistes historiques de Kawéskar, qui ont navigué pendant des siècles dans le sud de la péninsule de Brunswick et vers les canaux et fjords de Patagonie, la construction d'une nouvelle Caleta de Pescadores est projetée

It is very windy in Punta Arenas and Fort Bulnes. Wear layers because if the air is cold it can cut right through you. I highly recommend this tour. The reconstructed fort and interpretive exhibits offer a glimpse into what it took to settle this vast territory. The Strait museum is an impressive facility that showcases the ecology, exploration and settlement of this region. Our guide Nickolas was a font of knowledge and embellished our tour with interesting stories illustrating every aspect of the founding and development of Punta Arenas. We were treated to a special viewpoint, a walk through the town square and the Cemetery of Punta Arenas where historic figures were brought to life.

We took the Service together with a friendly German couple, to whom we had promised to show Punta Arenas, without knowing it either, and in short I can indicate the following: 1. Coordination from the beginning with Ms. Veronica was very agile, quick responses and searches for alternatives, whenever she needed it. He gave me clear information and advised me on the most appropriate choice, as we did not know the area. I make things easier for us, placing us in a guide who speaks English. 2. The shuttle Service with Don Luis, was excellent, punctual, very friendly and friendly. He also knows the area very well and explained any details we wanted to know. 3. Special rating for our guide, Nicolas, a very friendly young man who handles a lot of information about the area. He was clear and took us around like a nephew, and helped us a lot with German friends, given his English proficiency. The full day tour in Punta Arenas and Magalhães Strait was wonderful, stunning landscapes. The guide Felipe was extremely attentive and kind. He knew a lot about the place and gave us a true lesson of history and geography. We would like to thank Felipe and the chauffeur Mr. Luiz for the precious tips of restaurants and shopping venues. I recommend this tour!!!

We went with my Husband to Punta Arenas de Luna de Honey and hired 2 tours, full day Torres del Paine (group) and full day Punta Arenas and Strait of Magellan (private) We had a great time, Gabriel and Juan who were in the first, had very good group management and tourist information, it was exhausting and for me the stop times were good in each viewpoint and stopping point... for my husband it was little time but because he enjoys that frigid climate; and we won pot draw a plush milodon!! On the other tour Luis with his wife were very friendly and had a lot of flexibility to visit some points of interest to us, instead of others we had already seen

When you travel for the first time to an area that is demanding like Chilean or Argentine Patagonia, the most valuable thing is to have a tour operator that delimits the space and cultural patterns that you must take care of so that the experience reduces risks and is as pleasant as possible. I visited Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine and El Calafate with Punta Arenas tours and from the beginning they gave me detailed information about each route, the schedule in which each tour should arrive without exaggerating the arrival time that can take its toll on you because of the cold of the area; the contacts in each tour and accommodation, the type of costumes, the types of currency allowed and a long etc...
