Connu sous le nom de "Temple du Grand Stupa", ce temple vieux de plus de 700 ans - célèbre pour ses conceptions inspirées de Lanna - était autrefois la demeure de la statue très vénérée du Bouddha d'émeraude. Après avoir été transféré au Wat Phra Kaew à Bangkok, le roi thaïlandais a fait don d'une réplique au temple qui existe encore aujourd'hui.

L'un des temples les plus vénérés de Chiang Mai, Wat Phra Singh a été construit au 14ème siècle et est célèbre pour ses conceptions du nord de la Thaïlande et ses jardins impeccables.
Point de repère célèbre pour les habitants et les visiteurs, il faisait autrefois partie d'un mur défensif en briques hautes qui entourait la ville. Aujourd'hui, la porte est désormais un lieu de rencontre populaire avec une multitude de bars, de restaurants et d'hôtels à distance de marche.

Sunny was a great guide - very enthusiastic and seemed to really enjoy teaching us all about Chiang Mai and Lanna. She walked through a market with us, patiently explaining what everything was (without her, we could never guess on a lot of that!). It was kinda fun to ride in the tuk tuk - I was afraid for a moment that riding around in a tuk tuk in Chiang Mai would be like riding in a horse-drawn carriage through Central Park - but I have seen some locals in a tuk tuk.

Our tour guide was Jin. He was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We learned a lot about the temples and Thai traditions. This was one of our favorite tours we went on. We went to the market last and he told us which snacks we should try. We ended up eating lunch with him and he explained all of the different foods. Excellent tour! Jin is the best tour guide!

We had a great day with our tour guide, Love. She was super knowledgeable about the temples and all things Thailand. The tuk tuk was fun to ride around in and all of the temples were beautiful. Some other highlights were making a custom silver bracelet at the Silver Temple & getting blessed by a Monk.

Amazing Chiang Rai hot spring first stop second stop the white temple, which was unbelievably beautiful so , the blue temple, which was smaller, but very impressive. We had an amazing lunch. our Tour guy Jeff was amazing. You’d be lucky to get him. This is a highlight of our trip.

Siriluk Sridee (Eikzy) was our tour guide for this experience and she was fantastic. She did an excellent showing us the city and was so knowledgable. She communicated so well and we learned so much during our time. As a plus she took us to a fantastic noodle shop that was easily one of the best meals we had in Chiang Mai.
