My husband and I are from Oklahoma City, OK U.S. We spent the best 11 days ever in Ghana! The ONLY way to enjoy Ghana and experience everything from the Door of No Return to the highest most beautiful waterfall in West Africa is to book your tour with Eyali Tours. Please request Emmanuel Yalley! He is so experienced and knowledgeable concerning every detail of your visit. Ask him to give you the itinerary he planned for us. It was everything and more. There is nothing you will miss out on. We felt completely safe and comfortable at all times. He taught us so much and Emmanuel took care of us like we were family. Emmanuel was so helpful, kind, and extremely professional! We will personally recommend him to all of our friends and family. He will always be our tour guide and a part of our family! Tell him the Clemons sent you and he will go above and beyond ! Lol. Emmanuel is the only way to go!
My first time in Ghana, I had a bit of a custom experience with Eyali Tours. In addition to providing tours of the city and different experiences, also partnered with them as driver. Eyali was always prompt and extremely patient. I had a very loose itinerary with flexibility and I'm glad because I was able to get it better experience based on recommendations by Eyali. You assume that your tour or driver knows the area but I think that they take it a step further and can provide suggestions based on your personality, budget and needs. The communication was absolutely stellar. They were always available and I asked lots of questions and received prompt and clear answers. I also wanna make a point about safety since I was a solo traveler. There is not one time where I did not feel safe or at risk. Eyali had eyes on the back of head! This is a tour group that was recommended by a friend and I can see why word of mouth is so important because you really get someone that you can trust. When I return I absolutely will use their services again and the forward to seeing your smiling face when I get off the plane.
when we got there, the watchman asked us for money to see the place. this is supposed to be free to the public. its typically in Ghana to receive bribes. smh. but we didn't give him too much. just enough for a bottle of beer as he requested a crate. don't pay to see this place. its been years since i went to Ghana. even thought i grew up there. i have never been to this place and it was beautiful to go.
Hello, Minashk you have never traveled with us so it’s inappropriate for you to write a review on our TripAdvisor page. Please can you take it down, thank you.
This was a private tour and our tour guide Emanuel was AWESOME! He was knowledgeable about Accra and its history and he took us in different areas. It was a truly authentic experience. From visiting the markets, to a nice lunch in a local spot, he was great. He also went above and beyond as the ATM machine was not working and he took us to a bank in Osu so that we could get some cash. He was so patient and flexible. A couple of notes about Ghana: 1. Carry CASH! There are very few places that take credit cards. 2. The bathrooms are not modern and it is hard to find a decent bathroom - they need infrastructure. 3. Do not go out in the rain. The gutters in the streets are polluted and if it rains, all that stuff will be in the street on your feet! Again, Emanuel and all the places he took us were amazing and I would definitely request him and this tour!
Thanks Jenifer, it was nice meeting you and your son and hope you will return to Ghana soon.
