Au cours de cette visite de 9 à 10 heures, visitez le lac Sevan, perle de ce pays montagneux et l'un des plus grands lacs d'eau douce d'altitude d'Eurasie. Vous visiterez également Sevanavank, un complexe monastique situé sur la péninsule de Sevan. Actuellement, il y a un séminaire religieux qui n'est pas facilement ouvert au public. La péninsule peut être appelée le point même d'où l'on peut voir toute la beauté du lac Sevan. Vous ferez ensuite un court arrêt dans la ville de Dilidjan, autrement appelée « Suisse arménienne » pour ses fantastiques forêts naturelles. La ville fait partie du parc national de Dilidjan. Le prochain arrêt est Haghartsin, un monastère du 10ème siècle qui a été récemment rénové grâce au don du Cheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, le souverain de Sharjah, qui a été impressionné par le monastère lors de sa visite. Goshavank est la dernière étape entourée de territoires verts.

La fascination et la "perle" de l'Arménie montagneuse est le lac Sevan, qui est l'un des plus grands lacs d'eau douce d'altitude au monde. Il est à environ 1900 m d'altitude. Le lac est d'origine volcanique et est entouré de montagnes de 3000 m et plus. Le magnifique paysage et l'eau cristalline servent de bonnes conditions préalables pour un excellent repos.Le lac est également célèbre pour sa péninsule et son complexe d'églises médiévales, construit en 874.
Une scène merveilleuse s'ouvre dans la partie nord-ouest du lac Sevan, où la péninsule domine la surface transparente du lac. Le monastère de Sevanavank a été construit sur la péninsule en 874 par l'ordre de la fille du roi Ashot Bagratuni – la princesse Mariam. La silhouette des églises sur fond de lac turquoise et de ciel bleu jette une Impression inexplicable sur les visiteurs.
Goshavank a été fondée par le célèbre scientifique médiéval, le fabuliste Mkhitar Gosh. Le complexe se compose de plusieurs édifices religieux et profanes. Le khatchkar inégalé, placé devant la basilique à nef unique, a été créé par le maître habile Poghos en 1291. Goshavank était l'un des centres religieux et culturels les plus célèbres de l'Arménie médiévale.
Le monastère de Haghartsin, situé dans les bois de la région de Tavush, représente un exemple indescriptible de mélange de la nature avec l'architecture. Il a été fondé aux 10 - 11ème siècles, bien que de nouveaux bâtiments aient été ajoutés aux 12 - 13ème siècles. Maintenant, il se compose de Saint-Grigor, Saint-Astvatsatsin (Sainte Mère de Dieu), églises Saint-Stepanos et quelques autres bâtiments.Le réfectoire, en raison de sa composition architecturale habile, est d'un grand intérêt. Près de Haghartsin poussait un énorme chêne, presque à l'âge du monastère, complétant toute la scène. Malheureusement, seule une petite partie du creux a subsisté jusqu'à nos jours, cependant, il est toujours d'un grand intérêt parmi les visiteurs, et préserve la tradition, selon laquelle, lorsque l'on fait un vœu et parvient en même temps à traverser l'arbre (creux), il est prévu qu'il se réalise dans un avenir proche.

A long tour outside the city starting from Yerevan, visiting several monasteries and towns in an environment different from other regions of Armenia. Recommended in summer for the cooler climate found in these areas.

The tour may have been much better suited for Russian speakers. Combining Russian and English in the same tour was not a good decision. Typically, the guide would spend about 10 minutes speaking in Russian and only 2–3 minutes in English, making English-speaking guests feel like an afterthought. Some of the main issues we experienced were: - Instructions and meeting points were often unclear. - We were traveling with a senior and a child, so we naturally moved more slowly and were frequently at the back of the group. - The guide rarely waited for the entire group to gather or ensured that everyone had heard the directions. - At one stop, we lost the group completely, which was stressful. - The guide did not seem mindful of the different needs of guests. - Several other English-speaking participants were also visibly frustrated by the confusion and lack of communication. - At most stops, the Russian explanation took up about three-quarters of the time, leaving English speakers waiting around aimlessly until the guide returned to give a very brief explanation before everyone had to rush back to the bus. The lunch was mediocre at best. In addition: - It was not clearly explained that the cake was an extra charge. - We were traveling with a child, and none of the food options were suitable for her. - When we chose not to order food for her, the guide seemed offended, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I would not recommend this tour to English-speaking travelers, especially families with children or seniors.
Thanks to our guide Aik and our driver Aro for this good tour. I really like, how Aik told about Armenia history and about places. Lake Sevan is astonishing and road to Dilijan with monasteries are beautiful. For me also been interested to hear Armenian history. It’s really old country. I highly recommend this tour!
