La Piazza Ferrarese a toujours été l'un des points d'accès à la vieille ville qui, avec ses rues étroites, ses ruelles et ses petites ouvertures, s'étend de la Piazza Ferrarese - Piazza Mercantile jusqu'au château Normanno -Svevo. Au cours d'une récente restauration, qui a impliqué non seulement la place mais aussi les bâtiments environnants, un court tronçon de l'ancienne Via Appia - Traiana a été mis au jour, construit par les Romains au début du IIe siècle après JC.
La place a toujours représenté le cœur des activités commerciales et administratives de la ville en raison de la présence du marché de la ville (pas actuellement dans ce quartier) et du palais Sedile, qui est le point de référence historique de la mairie de Bari. Aujourd'hui, pour les citoyens de Bari, c'est un point de rencontre irremplaçable.

We didn't get to do the tour because of their mismanagement. We booked our tour for 10.30am. The day before they told us that the tour would now be at 4.30pm. At 3pm on the day of the tour they told us that it would be at 5.30pm. This was too late for us as we had other arrangements. Very unprofessional.
Nice tour, stops and very good guide. There are only 3 segways but we split with 6 in 2 tours. We are happy we did this, was excellent experience

We were the only 2 for the Segway tour. They had us follow 2 rickshaw bikes and when they stopped at points of interest they spent 15 minutes. It was a slow tour!

A fantastic cultural trip including the pasta street and a delicious ice cream with tour guide Iris. It is definitely recommended. The Segway is easy to drive and safety is paramount.
Wat een heerlijke recensie, dank je wel! 😊 We zijn ontzettend blij dat je hebt genoten van de culturele rondleiding en dat Iris je ervaring nog specialer heeft gemaakt – ze is inderdaad een topper! De pastastraat en dat welverdiende ijsje blijven altijd hoogtepunten, en fijn om te horen dat de Segway-rit soepel en veilig verliep. Good fun; the Segways were easier to use than others we’ve had in tours. Anna, the tour guide is delightful and did everything to enhance our experience. In places we had to be very aware of others on the road as it got crowded - Anna knew we were experienced riders so it wasn’t a problem.
We have visited Bari with Alesio and he has given us some very professional explanations. Tour highly recommended. Thanks also to Giulia at the office. See you soon.

Limit of sights visited. Guide was lovely. Knowledge was limited. Not all of us were on segways. Maybe that was due to a few changes in the schedule and other groups. I booked at least a month ago.
