Cherchez-vous à voir le meilleur de Ketchikan dans peu de temps avec des espoirs de la faune? Le Tongass Trolley tour est fait pour vous! Profitez des sites touristiques pendant que votre guide partage l'histoire colorée de Ketchikan dans un chariot de téléphérique des années 1800. Vous commencez le voyage par un court trajet en voiture après un nid d'aigle jusqu'au village autochtone de Saxman où vous verrez une collection de totems Tlingits et Haïdas. Votre guide partagera la riche histoire culturelle lors de notre passage dans le village. Après une promenade en voiture sur la côte, votre premier arrêt est une petite crique pour une occasion de voir la faune. Bien sûr, la faune n'est jamais garantie, mais il y a de bonnes chances d'observations à cet endroit. Direction Rainbow Falls où vous vous arrêterez pour profiter d'une séance photo devant les belles chutes. Après la route côtière panoramique de retour en ville, nous nous arrêterons au Totem Heritage Center pour voir d'authentiques artefacts autochtones, des regalia, des totems et des sculptures. Nous terminerons la visite là où nous avons commencé, ou dans le quartier historique de Creek Street.

Nous débarquerons à Herring Cove pour avoir l'occasion de voir des ours noirs, des phoques communs, des aigles et des saumons nager en amont. La faune n'est jamais garantie car elle est sauvage, mais nous avons de bonnes chances de les voir ici.
À notre retour en ville, nous sommes heureux de déposer tous les invités dans l'historique Creek Street pour faire un peu de shopping s'ils le souhaitent, ou nous vous ramènerons à l'endroit que nous avons récupéré au Vistors Center sur Front Street.
Découvrez les cinq espèces différentes de saumon que nous avons à Ketchikan, tout en regardant le saumon nager et sauter dans un ruisseau déchaîné pour atteindre leurs frayères et pondre leurs œufs.
Nous nous arrêterons à Rainbow Falls connu pour sa brume causée par la cascade déchaînée. S'il s'agit d'une journée ensoleillée, la brume crée un arc-en-ciel à travers les chutes, d'où son nom. C'est une opportunité de photo fantastique.
City Park était autrefois une écloserie avec de petits étangs où les poissons étaient élevés jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient assez grands pour nager autour de l'océan Pacifique et retourner dans la crique où ils sont nés.
Totem Heritage Center est inscrit au Registre national des lieux historiques pour sa collection de mâts totémiques authentiques du XIXe siècle. En outre, le Centre maintient une collection de sculptures, paniers, regalia et photographies. pour montrer le patrimoine des tribus autochtones locales.

Trolley tour was very easy to find, right across from visitors center. My husband rides a mobility scooter and they were able to store the scooter at the office inside til we got back. Thanks again for the great tour! We also saw lots of amazing eagles!
Chris was our driver and guide. He did everything to make our excursion enjoyable and informative. He had large and sweet personality. He was extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure that his trolley adventure would please both adults and kids. Highly recommended.
I signed my husband and I up for a Trolley Tour in Ketchikan 6/26/26. My husband, unfortunately, could not go so it was just me. Turns out I was the only one for the noon tour. I was escorted around by Amanda. OMGOSH…it was amazing having my own private tour. She did AMAZING!!! She is so personable, sweet, kind, and fun. I had the BEST time!!!!!! She told me so much history and this tour was exactly what I was looking for!!! The waterfall and feeding the eagles was the best!! She picked some salmon berries for me to try. I went home with salmon berry jelly!! I have slight mobility issues and she took great care of me assisting me in/out of the van, walking on uneven surfaces, getting me close to the waterfall. Amanda shared videos with me of the bears since we didn’t see them. We got to see the salmon spawning. She escorted me to the shuttle bus to assure I was on the correct one. She gave me a big hug!! Kiddos to your company for a top notch tour and for employing Amanda…she is a big asset!! I would give her 10 stars if that was an option.
It’s a good way to get about if you don’t have transport … and if you’re lucky you may get to see some good stuff in Herring Cove, but IMO you could probably pinpoint the things you fancy and go there direct / independently
Amanda was our guide. She did an awesome job working for us to see wildlife. We saw black bears, eagles which she fed. We got some great pictures. She gave us a good over view of Ketchikan and took where we could get some local smoked salmon. It was delicious and a great tour.
Amanda was awesome! The best tour of our cruise. Seeing the eagles was a highlight that I will never forget. Amanda went out of her way to give us an outstanding tour. She was so knowledgeable. She treated us like family. I can’t say enough good things about her. Thank you so much. I highly recommend.

I wanted to do an excursion like we've done in the past that is more personal and more one on one interactions. So we decided to do trolley ride and got much more than our expectations. First we received a call asking to change the time, but we couldn't since we were limited on how many hours we were staying in Ketchikan. We decided to stay with the designated time thinking this isn't a good start. We met up with the women who greeted us at the visitor center. I wish I knew her name because from that moment my attitude changed about our excursion. She was friendly and knowledgeable plus showed us some pics of a bear going through her trash. She was very entertaining and we could tell she enjoyed her job. She talked the whole time and even walked with us while waiting for our driver. At the time we were the only couple but they ended up picking up another couple for the tour before we left. We ended up taking a smaller shuttle bus which is fine for only 4 people. Juan was our driver and tour guide. We got picked up and he drove us to different sites on the island. It was nice that he was local so was very knowledgeable about the areas and spoke to us in great detail about everywhwere we went. He was very passionate about his job and we enjoyed all the information he shared. He had connections to private beaches that we were able to get on that other tourists cant and had insight to the best bear and eagle viewings and was going to make sure we saw both. Someeone like him who actually hunts, fishes and lives there was a big bonus. We had other excursions and they flew in their guides for peak seasons and then left. Juan is a permanent resident so he is there when the peak season is over. I can't say enough of how great he is about his job and passionate about all the wildlife and beauties around the island. He was a great tour guide and 5 stars isn't enough! I hope he reads this and by far made this one of our best excursions we ever been on. Thanks again !! Ohh if you do get lucky enough to get him let him show you the 550 lb Halibut he caught,lol.
We had Christopher as our tour guide, he was amazing. We saw Bear, Deer, lots of bald eagles, and so much more. He shared his vast knowledge of this town and it's people. This tour is worth every dime. Would do it again in a heartbeat
We were in town with a group of ten. Original excursion canceled. We went to Ketchikan Expeditions and within 1/2 hour, had a trolley for us. Our guide, Amanda, very knowledgeable of area and delivered everything she promised. Couldn’t more happy Amanda and Ketchikan Expedition. Thank you Amanda!!
