Notre site de visite en hydroglisseur est le plus proche de la plantation, ce qui réduit votre temps de trajet dans les véhicules. Nous opérons sur tous les marais privés où AUCUN autre bateau n'est autorisé et aucune zone d'inactivité ou ordonnance sur le bruit. Notre petit bateau peut accueillir 6 à 9 passagers.

La visite de la plantation d'Oak Alley est l'une des plus magnifiques visites de plantation près de la Nouvelle-Orléans en raison des 28 immenses chênes régulièrement espacés qui vont de River Road à la Plantation House. On dirait le film « Autant en emporte le vent ». La maison de style néo-grec date de 1837.
Les petits hydroglisseurs vont plus vite et un peu plus intimistes avec un groupe plus restreint. Au cours de cette visite, vous ferez l'expérience du meilleur des deux: une visite informative des marais et une promenade en hydroglisseur à grande vitesse. Vous voyagerez à grande vitesse dans l'hydroglisseur, puis ralentirez et vous arrêterez pour prendre des photos. Votre capitaine vous fera faire une visite inoubliable en expliquant la culture, les animaux et les marais. Vous pouvez même faire l'expérience d'une rencontre rapprochée avec une partie de la vie locale des marais. Vous serez de retour à votre hôtel vers 16h45

Wonderful day spent exploring Oak Alley.. and tons of fun on the swamp. Oak Alley is a bit heavy historically.. but important. They make amazing mint juleps, too. Winding down in the swamp afterwards was perfect. Seeing all those alligators in a unique ecosystem was so interesting.
This was by far an amazing experience and more than I expected. They were knowledgeable and fun! They genuinely care for the gators and know them by name. Don't waste your time or money going with another group. This is THE tour. I highly recommend.
Grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately, the Tour left much to be desired. It was a vague overview of the first family that lived there and some self-guided portion. It did not give an in-depth understanding of plantation Life, how plantation works. slave era or anything else of interest. I was disappointed. I would however recommend the boat tour offered by ragin Cajun tours. It was great! Try the Whitney plantation. I heard it gave a more informative and historical tour.
Airboat trip was awesome, Mike was a great guide, saw lots of gators. Our all day driver Brandon was awesome too very informative and very friendly.
We started our first of two tours at Oak Alley Plantation. The main house tour provides a picture in time. Every space was explained in detail throughout the house. Our second adventure was with Ragin Cajun swamp tours. We went on the small airboat. We stopped often to see alligators fed big marshmallows from the boat. Amazing bird life throughout. We did one faster run for excitement. Great fun.
Oak Alley tour was very limited and not really very informative or entertaining. took the same tour 10-15 yrs ago and much longer, with many stories about life on the plantation - visiting guests, slaves, kitchens, bed rolling. this was bare bones and pretty bad. Oak Alley grounds are pretty. Mint Julep was good. food was acceptable and not too touristy expensive. the airboat ride was fun. since warm out many alligators. less fun on the airboat than other trips we have taken - during the cold months where there were very few alligators, but they made more fun running the airboat about in curly ques. guess summer they fill with animals, winter with boat tricks.
We had a wonderful day at both the plantation house tour and swamp boat! Our driver Brian, was absolutely fantastic. Humorous and informative. The whole experience was exceeded our expectations.
Fantastic day out & about. The plantation was fascinating with some sad history of slavery. Learnt a lot. The airboat ride was great. A lot of fun and a lot of gators to see. Larry, handle -BamBam, kept us informed throughout the trip telling us a lot about the area. Recommended
Great tour start to finish. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable as he shuffles us between locations. Always one-time and polite.
Long drive. Lots of down time. Plantation is not worth the drive or the time allotted. Swamp tour was simply a large mud flat. Not very scenic. It was good to see alligators on a sunny day, but that is it. Not worth the steep price.
