Description

My family and I came to France however some of us do not speak English, Victoria was very insightful and despite the language barrier gave a very knowable, detailed and patient experience to us all!
This was a horrible experience . We paid 230.00 and did not find our group. Layer they said even though they are inside they can’t let us in so we had to buy tickets again.
I believe this is the best way to tour the palace. There's so much history, and the tour guide, Marianna, helped to make sense of everything.
We felt really lucky to have been paired with Christina as our guide. She patiently and knowledgeably guided our group in this July heat. Loved all of the history she shared with us. We learned to appreciate Versailles through the stories she shared. Thank you :)
Great experience, thank you Martin!!

A fantastic tour. Gave the history and moved us through the spaces very well especially given the large crowds.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and that your guide was able to share the history while navigating the large crowds efficiently. It's great to know you had such a positive experience. We hope to see you again on another adventure!
Great tour . Informative , not too long , our tour guide Wei was excellent. I would not visit Versailles without a guide as you don’t know what you are looking it. Highly recommend !
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your Versailles experience and that Wei provided such an informative and engaging tour. We really appreciate your recommendation and are happy the skip-the-line access added to your visit. We hope to welcome you again in the future!
We arrived 20 mins late due to train delays due to weather. The tour guide first told us to wait to get us in the next group, so we waited an hour and then they told us that they cannot give us the tickets we paid for or give us a refund or even reschedule for a later date.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Praneet. I'm sorry to hear about the disruption you experienced due to the train delays and the impact this had on your tour. To clarify what happened on the day: our staff asked you to wait in case there were any no-shows or missing guests from another group, as we sometimes have limited flexibility to accommodate late arrivals in those situations. This is offered purely as a courtesy when space allows and is never guaranteed, as group sizes and timed entries are strictly controlled. Unfortunately, in this case, the group was complete and already progressing, so we were not able to add additional guests once the tour had departed. As a result, we were also unable to offer a reschedule or refund in line with the tour’s timing policy. That said, I understand how the initial expectation of being accommodated, followed by the final outcome, would have been frustrating. Your feedback has been shared with our local team so we can ensure communication in these situations is clearer and more consistent going forward. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and regret that your experience did not meet expectations.
Victoria was fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that Victoria made your visit to Versailles such a memorable one. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words and are delighted you appreciated her knowledge and helpfulness. We hope to welcome you back on another tour soon!
We were supposed to have a 10 am tour. But there were repeated delays (while we stood out in 90+ degree heat) and we didn't actually start until nearly 11:30. Not only did we waste time and stand out in the sun, but the delay caused us to miss a bike tour scheduled for later in the day. Not well organized at all.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Brad. We are sincerely sorry to hear about the delays you experienced and understand how frustrating it must have been to wait in the heat, especially when it impacted the rest of your plans for the day. While entry procedures and crowd management at Versailles can occasionally result in unforeseen delays that are beyond our direct control, we recognize that this does not lessen the inconvenience you experienced. We regret that the tour did not begin as scheduled and that the delay caused you to miss your bike tour. Your comments regarding the organization and communication of the experience have been shared with our operations team for review. Feedback such as yours is invaluable as we work to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience.
