Vous vous tiendrez debout dans le gigantesque hall du Dôme de 27 mètres de haut, surveillé par des gardes stoïques aux sabres tirés, pour voir de près la couronne et sa croix inclinée. C’est le cœur symbolique de la nation. Vous monterez le Grand Escalier, un espace si cossu qu’il fait ressembler la plupart des palaces européens à une rénovation DIY. Imaginez-vous passer devant de gigantesques colonnes de granit – dont seulement 12 existent dans le monde – sous des plafonds peints par Károly Lotz. Chaque centimètre des murs est recouvert de feuilles d'or et de fresques complexes qui racontent l'histoire d'un royaume millénaire. The place is beautiful. The architecture is stunning.

Very well-told story 👍 nothing to say but.... The back and forth of identity checks to finally obtain an entry ticket for 7000 Ft when we paid 14000 Ft per person 👎 Data privacy is not respected when Rosi or her accomplice calls to retrieve her ID card, and a second time to finally get the access tickets.

Just ok. Only saw a few rooms. Nothing extraordinary, mostly very ordinary. Not worth the amount charged.

The tour was just ok. A lot of history, but done at the pace of the narrator. Understandably, it has to be done in groups because of the sensitivity of the building, but we were a little bored by the duration of it.

The pre experience information/communication was great, clear to understand. However, when we arrived at the Parliament visitor's centre to meet with the Viator guides it went a little pear shaped. They were not where they said they would be at the time stated by them. We were left hunting around the very busy reception area trying to locate them. An official from the Parliament building saw us and took us to the two guides who were sort of tucked around a corner having a conversation! They then proceeded to herd their crowd to the stated meeting point and were quite abrupt with everyone. Certainly not the most friendly Viator representatives I've dealt with in the past. The tour of the building itself was amazing, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Budapest.

This operator is basically a ticket scalper. If you buy tickets directly from the Parliament Ticket office, they are approximately $45 USD. This operator charged approximately $80 USD per ticket and provided no service other than retrieving the distributing the tickets outside the entrance to the tour. Surprised Viator allows this.
