I took the Private Korean Folk Village, Suwon Starfield Library & Hwaseong tour yesterday, and Jake made it truly unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, professional, and so knowledgeable about every place we visited. What I appreciated the most was how adaptable and attentive he was — he made both me and my friend feel genuinely special the entire day. His explanations were clear, interesting, and full of passion for Korean culture. He created a comfortable atmosphere where we could ask anything, enjoy at our own pace, and feel completely taken care of. It’s rare to meet a guide who combines expertise with such warmth and respect. Thank you, Jake, for making our experience so wonderful. Highly recommended!

Mr. Jake was punctual, professional, thoughtful, and kind. He really took good care of us. He gave us comprehensive details of Korean history. Overall, even though the weather was cold & rainy, we still had a great time at the Fortress, Korean Folk Village, Suwon Library, and Suwon market/city with pottery. This Tour is highly recommended.

Our guide Jones picked us up promptly and whisked us away in a very roomy sprinter van. We had an amazing day and Jones made sure we were comfortable at all times. We have a bit of trouble climbing stairs and he always made sure to find an elevator if possible and if not, the stairs that were the least challenging. The sights are important but the guide even more so. Jones really made the day for us. He made sure to include everything we wished to see and was knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. The folk village was amazing, making our own pottery was lots of fun, the fortress was great and the library was incredible! We have traveled all over the world, 7 continents, and have never seen anything like it. A real treat at the end of the tour. We would highly recommend this tour and to have a truly incredible day request Jones for your guide. You will be glad you did!
Mr Kim, our guide, gave my son and I a wonderful tour. He let us enjoy what interested us and he did not rush us. He is very knowledgeable of Korean culture and he was able to give us a good insight into Korean culture. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
What a wonderful experience! My son and I enjoyed the day together learning about the history of the people of South Korea. Kimsoo was a fantastic guide. Sharing his knowledge of the past and present heritage of South Korea. If you looking for a personal touch then I would highly recommend Mr Kimsoo!
My wife and I took this tour in April 2023. Although it seems pricey, it was well worth it, particularly since it was a private 9-hour tour for two in a nice Genesis car. Our guide/driver was Kim Soo, who picked us up as agreed at our hotel. He was a most capable guide, who provided us with a lot of interesting information on Korean history on our drive south. Our first stop was the folk village, where we saw the rural dance performance and also ate lunch, which was not included but Kim Soo helped us select a quick and tasty meal. (The folk village was packed with kids on school field trips and Kim Soo helped move us along.) The second stop at Hwaseong Fortress was relatively short (as specified in the itinerary) but we did get to walk part of the wall in the northeast section. The final stop was at a master potter in Icheon, where he gamely tried to teach us how to make plates, bowls and cups with limited success. The showroom at his studio offered many lovely items for sale for reasonable prices. Throughout the day Kim Soo took us to interesting sights and gave us historical information at each place. He is well-travelled, speaks excellent English, and has a good sense of humor. Also he is an excellent driver, which one can appreciate after experiencing the traffic in and around Seoul. I definitely would recommend this tour, especially with Kim Soo.
We had a really great time, even though there was a lot closed due to rainy weather. The Folk village could be a whole day in itself when the activities are all running. We did get to see the Korea traditional song, which was beautiful. Our tour guide was Hun and he was very nice. I would definitely recommend this to anyone else going to Seoul. It was worth the price.
Kim Soo was my tour guide and was wonderful, he always answered all my questions and was. The folk dance was beautiful and the ceramic was so much fun. I loved this tour and if I ever go back to Korea I would take it again.
Our guide Kimsoo was very knowledgeable, and he taught us a lot about Korean history and culture. He was also helpful with tips for traveling in Korea.
