Le premier arrêt sera dans la forêt tropicale de Veragua, l'attraction touristique ultime du Costa Rica qui offre tout ce que vous voulez vivre dans la forêt tropicale authentique! Profitez d'une journée de découverte et d'aventure dans la merveilleuse réserve de montagne de la forêt tropicale de Veragua, que National Geographic Traveler a appelée « La crème de la crème de la forêt tropicale ». Entourée d’une forêt tropicale 100% humide, la réserve privée borde le spectaculaire parc international de La Amistad («Friendship International Park»), la plus grande réserve naturelle d’Amérique centrale. Votre visite comprend des expositions interactives en direct de serpents, de grenouilles et de papillons dans une installation inégalée, des sentiers pédestres et une véritable station scientifique où vous pourrez voir des chercheurs découvrir de nouvelles espèces.
Souvent surnommé « l'Amazonie du Costa Rica », le canal de Tortuguero est l'une des attractions naturelles les plus emblématiques du pays. Cette promenade guidée en bateau vous emmène à travers des cours d'eau calmes et étroits entourés d'une végétation tropicale luxuriante, offrant une vue rapprochée sur la faune locale. Votre visite commence à l'intérieur de la jetée, où nos guides vous attendront avec un panneau indiquant votre nom. Recherchez nos chemises rouges pour une identification facile. Nous offrons un ramassage à l’intérieur de la jetée, donc il n’est pas nécessaire de marcher à l’extérieur des installations. Calendrier : Les visites sont prévues 30 minutes après les quais de votre navire, la visite la plus précoce commençant à 8h00. En tant que meilleur voyagiste local, nous garantissons votre retour sur le bateau de croisière

Rain forest tour was very informative. Aerial tram was less impressive than we had anticipated. Had a private canal tour which was the highlight of the day with many animal sightings.

It is the most important thing to see in Puerto Colón. The girl who served us on the tour and the girl in the park, a charm both of us. Very happy with the experience and guides. We saw a sloth and her baby almost to touch.

We docked and guide and driver were waiting inside port as per our instructions with my name on placard. It came as a surprise that we had private guide and driver. They were both amazing: very polite and helpful throughout, always going the extra yard to ensure we had a great experience . The veragua rainforest is amazing although the road to and from it is like a farm track. We were taken down in gondola to bottom of gully and were taken around to see sloth, snakes, frogs etc ( beware if you have walking difficulties this may not be tour for you). We were then taken to see all indigenous snakes, frogs butterflies insects etc of Costa Rica. We were then taken to tortugena canal to see local wildlife where we had a very close up encounter with sloth climbing down to do a poo which apparently only happens weekly. Fantastic. Fr there we were taken on a quick tour of Puerto limon before being dropped off back at ship. Superb day out

Some highs and lows. Great driver (Alberto). Terrible road 15km of dirt/rocks road. Great guide Franny but no wildlife and too much waiting. Very crowded. No food available. Beautiful waterfall. Very expensive. We priced out entrance to the park and taxi and it was $200 less then what we paid. We felt a bit taken
Definitely not the experience I desired. Driver seemed unaware of the itinerary. We saw the rainforest and canals but no opportunity for lunch or grocery store purchase. Would not recommend.
Our tour with Syl Travel was great. They were there at the port and readily recognizable with their red shirts . Our guide was Enrique and he was the best. Had tons of information about Costa Rica and was happy to share with us.

We docked Costa Rica on 12th March 2020 and decided to make our own arrangements. We were met on disembarking by many guides offering their excursions. Thankfully we chose Enrique as our tour guide. He couldn't have been nicer and was very knowledgable and proud of his culture. Highly recommended!!
We got off the ship and went with Scott Christian, our guide. We enjoyed it SO MUCH that 2 years later when we did the same cruise with Princess that when we got off the ship we asked...Where is "Scott Christian". Best adventure EVER! AND we are planning on using this company again when we go back!
