It was a special and unique experience. Adrian gave us a fantastic insight into the animal world. Definitely book a guide. Worth it. The conclusion at the waterfall was amazing. And on top of that, coconut water. Great experience.
Our guide Adrian was amazing. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. We saw a lot but didn’t feel rushed.
I highly recommend this tour! The first half is a leisurely walk through the park to spot a variety of wildlife, and the second half is a relaxing swim at the waterfall with a fresh fruit snack. Our group included me, my two friends, and one other person, so the tour felt very personal and moved at our own pace. Adrian was a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, fun, and flexible throughout the experience!
Adrian was so wonderful! He was kind and knowledgeable and very good at spotting the wildlife. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo.
Had a great day with our Guide Adrian who was very knowledgeable & friendly & made sure we had an amazing day! We saw so much wildlife we would never have seen without him! Sloths, Howler Monkeys, white face Capuchin's, Black turtles, yellow foot Crane, Iguanas, lizards, Red Frogs plus loads more I can’t even remember it all! The Cahuita National Park was Amazing & to top it off a lovely cool dip in the Bri Bri Waterfall! We also had Snacks, Fruit & coconut water & the opportunity to have a Coco Loco with the Local Vendor who sang us the ‘Coco Loco’ song while we ate & drank! Brilliant day out well worth the trip!
Cahuita is easy to do without a guide. This tour only goes in a km or so, while on your own you could travel much further. Waterfall was fine but there are many better in CR and, again, you could visit it for a tenth of the price on your own.
The tour was really nice. We were on a Sunday, but that's why Cahuita National Park was very crowded, yet we could see all kinds of animals thanks to our guide (slots, raccoons, butterflies, snakes, ...). You could also tell that our guide Ema loves his job. The waterfall was nice but relatively well attended. Finally, there were many different local fruits to try (not just the classic pineapple, as with many other tours).
This tour was absolutely worth it! We saw all the amazing animals we were hoping to see - 2 kinds of sloths and a sloth baby, a pit viper snake, an iguana, monkeys, and more! The walk through the jungle was leisurely. The waterfall was incredibly refreshing. It was more a more strenuous hike but definitely worth it. Our tour guide, Adrian was fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and great with my 12 year old son - who really enjoyed Adrian’s sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour!!!
Great guide and well set up trip! Saw many animals we would not have spotted without the guide.
We were a small group and had a very nice guide. He knew his way around, discovered many animals we could see through his binoculars and taught us a lot. It was a tour that was really worth it. Thank you for that!
