Great tour walking around Vienna - seeing important places and hearing good and also troubling history, during war time. Elisabeth was a delight and we enjoyed our time with her as we walked around beautiful Vienna
Thank you for taking the time to review. Hope to see you again on Insight Cities tours in Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg. Please tell your friends!
This ended up being a private tour for us and Kristina did a fabulous job! She was excited to show us the many important sites in Vienna and we appreciated her historical background.
Thank you so much for the great feedback. We'll definitely pass that on to your guide. Safe travels.
Our guide was incredible. She was very knowledgeable and we had tons of questions. The tour was lovely as it ended up being just my friend and myself. We had a private tour of Vienna. Based on her recommendations we are touring several sites today on our own. I would highly recommend the three hour walking tour to anyone coming to Vienna. We loved every minute of it.
Thank you for taking the time to review. We're proud to work with such terrific guides. Hope to see you again on Insight Cities tours in Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg. Please tell your friends!
Selin is an excellent guide, she has thorough knowledge of the city both history and socio-cultural aspects of everyday life. Extremely professional and competent as well as empathic and jovial. A pleasure working for almost three hours with her and exchanging views and comments. Would do again.
Thank you very much for your review. Hope to see you on another Insight Cities tour in Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Budapest, or Salzburg.
Christina was fantastic. A fund of knowledge. We learned so much! She was flexible with our itinerary and made it very comfortable.
Thanks so much for your kind review!
Annelie was amazing! She was more than a tour guide -- someone with deep interest and knowledge about Vienna from both an academic and lived experience. We've been on a lot of tours over the years, and this was hands down one we will not forget. The little touches -- playing music of Mozart and Haydn, tasting Sisi's favorite candies, stopping for a Viennese snack that you wouldn't find in an ordinary guidebook – set it apart. Bonus points for not cutting any corners even in the terrible rain and wind. The small tour size was well worth the cost. Don't think twice about booking!
Thank you so much for your fabulous review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your tour of Vienna with Annelie! She is truly a wonderful guide. We hope to see you on another Insight Cities tour in any of our wonderful cities in the future - Prague, Vienna, Berlin, Budapest, & Salzburg.
Billie was a fun and helpful guide. Turns out my wife and I were her only guests in this slot so she gave us 100% attention. We saw the Hofburg, St Stephen’s cathedral, and art deco buildings. She also showed us alternative cafes to get sacher torte without lining up at the overrated Sacher Hotel. Plus gave tips on where we can get good schnitzel and sausages. We would have loved to also visit the city hall, parliament and plague column, and would’ve wanted to see the Holy Lance but these weren’t part of the itinerary. For a purely walking tour, this was too expensive at $125 per person. Maybe opt for the cheaper big group tour.
We are really glad that you enjoyed the tour and found our guide knowledgeable and engaging. We feel confidant that we offer an excellent value for our intimate sized tours and highly educated guides over going on a big group tour where there are so many people that the guide can only give headlines and sound bites and cannot give each person the kind of personal attention that you received.
Our tour guide, Katarina, was a very informative and professional person. She took extra time to answer all of our questions so we could learn more of Vienna’s history. Knowledgeable also of world affairs. She was calm while being challenged by a person in the public domain. She did not let the rude interruption derail the rest of our tour. We would recommend her to everyone!!
Thank you so much for this review! Glad you were not fazed by the interruption. Katarina can handle all sorts of situations! Hope to see you on our tours in Berlin, Prague, Salzburg, Vienna & Budapest. All best, Insight Cities
This was an intense walking tour with lots of information. Our guide was very informed and kept us moving throughout the downtown and I would highly recommend. We were a group of two families and by a happy coincidence their son is attending the university that my son will be attending next year.
What a coincidence! As travellers do come to Vienna from all over the world. Thank you so much for this review and for recommending our tour. Glad you enjoyed it. -- INSIGHT CITIES
This is a wonderful activity. Kristina, our tour guide, was very professional, knowledgeable and fun. She was able to show us most the important landmarks of the city. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend this activity.
Thank you so much for the review -- we're glad you enjoyed your tour with Kristina! Hope to see you on our other tours. Elizabet, Insight Cities
