Départ de l'hôtel/résidence d'Accra vers Torgorme en 4x4/berline climatisé proposé par Landtours • Arrivée à Torgome dans la région de la Volta où vous recevrez un nom africain traditionnel et deviendrez membre d'un village africain. Ensuite, découvrez et essayez-vous à l'une des industries locales du village comme la poterie ou la pisciculture.
Déjeunez à vos frais si vous le souhaitez à la VRA Guest House située près du magnifique lac Volta, le plus grand lac artificiel d'Afrique.
• Arrivée à la réserve de Shai Hills. La réserve naturelle de Shai Hills combine la conservation de la nature, de riches sites culturels et archéologiques avec une splendide beauté des paysages. Parcourez les plaines de la savane pour observer le gros gibier d'Afrique de l'Ouest : antilopes, chevreuils, krobs, babouins, singes et de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux, dont l'aigle huppé, le calao terrestre, l'outarde à ventre vide et bien plus encore. • Visitez les grottes Obonu Tem & Se Yo qui abritent de nombreux animaux, notamment des chauves-souris insectivores. Our group spent ten days on this tour. It provided a fairly comprehensive view of Ghana with some amazing sites and experiences. LandTours is very organized and their prices are fair. Elvis, our tour guide, and Peter, our chauffeur were phenomenal! Both were personable, very knowledgeable, and attentive!
What a wonderful experience!! Elvis is so knowledgeable and willing to answer all off our questions which makes the experience that much more enjoyable.

Our group had a wonderful time on the Togome Village Tour along with the other stops on our Landtours adventure. Our driver and guide were top notch. We learned so much more than any typical tour as they shared their own insights and experiences with us. The bus was in great condition and they always had our comfort and safety in mind. I would definitely recommend LandTours for either their guided tours or a custom itinerary.
The village tour was mind-changing and is something I could never have pulled together myself. Charles was always on time, cheerful, friendly and added a layer of safety to everything we did. Plus he was great at navigating the bus through the potholes in the roads hahaha! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ghana who might otherwise just stay on the coast and visit Accra and the Slave Castles/forts/dungeons. It really gives a more rounded perspective of what's going on in Ghana.
Our Ghana tour was excellent en every way because of several factors. First, we had Elvis, our pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide. He assisted us with a great attitude; and Francis, our driver was amazing in negotiating every type of road. Our experience to the village of Torgome in the Lower Volta took us to our highest spiritual points. We left the village with new names and renewed spirituality. We also visited the Elmina and Cape Coast Castles where our guides did a great job of reenacting the painful experiences of the captured ancestors. The Kakun National Park was great fun! Our tour ended with the spectacular tour of Accra: W.E.B. DuBois Centre for Pan African Culture, Independence Square and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. Our pilgrimage to Ghana was well planned with good hotels and clean restaurants with good food. Future trips will be a couple of days longer in order to include time for rest and reflection. Ghana has a lot to offer culturally, spiritually and historically. LandTours, and especially Tara Gbedemah, must be congratulated for wonderful customer service. Our trip was 5 star and some of my group members are returning to Ghana in 2020, this time with their children to expose them to a culture that is more constructive for character building, industry, spirituality and personal development.
