Carl was a wonderful guide around the Bella Vista neighborhood. Not only did we eat well, but he had so much info to share about local traditions and foods we were chatting and exploring the whole time. As we headed to our first stop we passed a local tortilla maker who knew Carl and handed us samples--an experience we repeated throughout our time together. Our first stop was a lovely family owned place where we had amazing mole and enchiladas. Grandma was busy cooking in the kitchen, but her grandson made sure we were happy. We continued on our tour to an indoor market to sample goat tacos and learn more about the complexity of moles. We had watermelon, flautas, chicharones and much more. What a perfect day! Carl and Milou were the best guides.

We were a group of 6 and booked a private tour. The night tour normally includes a lot of alcohol, but we do not drink, so he customised the tour for us to be all food.
