Pourquoi choisir cette visite ? - Car il serait dommage de se rendre au Costa Rica sans découvrir la forêt tropicale humide, considérée comme l'une des expériences à vivre absolument avant de mourir. - Parce que vous n'aurez sans doute pas l'occasion de voir un paresseux dans son milieu naturel, et croyez-moi, cette créature est l'un des animaux les plus mignons au monde. - Parce que vous aurez l'occasion de vous baigner en toute sécurité dans une cascade spectaculaire, naturelle, haute et large, au cœur de la jungle.

Itinéraire
Llanos de Cortez est l'une des plus belles cascades du Costa Rica. Les chutes sont larges et vaporeuses, avec de minces filets d'eau qui dévalent le long des rochers moussus. On aperçoit des falaises rocheuses à travers la cascade cristalline ; une forêt dense entoure la chute, et à sa base se trouve un joli bassin où l'on peut se baigner ou barboter, ainsi qu'une zone de sable où il fait bon se détendre.
Heliconias a accès à l'une des activités les plus importantes du Costa Rica, visiter une véritable forêt tropicale humide… avec 3 incroyables ponts suspendus qui traversent la canopée de la forêt, allant de 35 à 40 mètres de hauteur. Sur les pentes du volcan Tenorio, cette randonnée de deux heures avec de nombreux arrêts pour observer la variété de la flore et de la faune dans la jungle persistante environnante vous étonnera.
Observer des paresseux dans leur habitat naturel n'est pas toujours facile, ici vous pouvez voir de très près les nombreux spécimens de cette créature rare. Également sous les feuilles mortes de la jungle ou dans les piscines naturelles, vous pouvez facilement voir environ 8 espèces différentes de grenouilles de la forêt tropicale, y compris la rainette aux yeux rouges et la minuscule grenouille venimeuse, parmi d'autres amphibiens multicolores. Enfin, vous apprendrez à connaître et admirerez de nombreux papillons au jardin des papillons. Ne soyez pas surpris si soudainement un toucan vole au-dessus de votre tête !

Very cool experience. Had an added coffee and chocolate experience that was not suggested in the booking. We had a. Excellent tour guide named Graybir who was fantastic. He truly knew the culture and the personality of Costa Rica and added greatly to the experience. There was a decent amount of driving but it was broken up and not too bad. Overall a great experience!

Marvin and Carlos were are guides and they were outstanding. They made stops so we could see sloths and toucans in the trees. There experience and history of Costa Rica was very impressive and interesting. They were both very funny and made the trip enjoyable. When we went to the Rain Forest and Sloth Sanctuary they pointed out all the animals, insects, bugs, snakes, flowers and gave us a little background of each. I would highly recommend this tour with these wonderful men Carlos and Marvin. Well worth the money and a fantastic tour. Thank you again for such a great experience. Marvin and Carlos Meneses were great!! We had so much fun spotting sloths, toucans, monkeys, and all kinds of other small creatures. The coffee and cacao tour was also very good. This was an easy tour to do with kids. The bridges were secure.

We had an excellent day! Our tour guide "Gravy" was fantastic, kept it lively and entertaining the entire time. We first went to the waterfall which was beautiful and surreal to be swimming in this gorgeous place. We then went on a Cocoa and Coffee farm tour which was fascinating and delicious. The hanging bridges were really fun and Gravy kept us enthralled with education about the animals, plants and ecosystem. We then had the absolute best meal of our entire trip for lunch before going to the sanctuary where we were able to see two different species of snakes, a green tree leaf frog, amazing plants and flowers and multiple sloths. One was even kind enough to be sleeping on a branch right by the observation deck for great pictures! Would recommend it and if I were you I would ask for "Gravy" as your tour guide.

We had the most incredible tour experience in Costa Rica, and it was truly all thanks to our amazing guide, Marvin. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, personable, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable—especially on the hikes. He created such a perfect, well-rounded day for us. We explored beautiful waterfalls, hiked through the rainforest, and learned so much along the way. One of the absolute highlights was getting to see wildlife up close—especially a sloth, which was my favorite! He even arranged for a local volunteer to help us spot and learn about more animals, which made the experience feel so special and authentic. Beyond the adventure, he also made sure we experienced the culture. We enjoyed a delicious local lunch that he helped serve, which added such a thoughtful, personal touch. We also got to see how coffee and chocolate are made—such a fun and memorable experience! He wrapped up the day by taking us souvenir shopping, making sure we found great, authentic items. What really stood out was his patience, kindness, and genuine passion for what he does. He never rushed us, answered all our questions, and made the entire day feel effortless and fun. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, I cannot recommend this tour—especially with Marvin- highly enough. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Wear good shoes for hiking. Alfonso was the BEST tour guide. Very informative and very knowledgeable of the country. Highly recommend this tour. We were able to see sloths, snakes, frogs, lizards, and even a turkey.
