Description
Une excursion d'une journée à la découverte de la flore, de la faune et DES woners naturels du parc national du volcan Rincón de la Vieja. La journée consiste en une randonnée modérée de 2 heures où vous verrez la faune et l'activité volcanique. Ensuite, nous visiterons la cascade Oropendola où vous pourrez nager et jouer dans l'eau. Après la cascade, il est temps de manger un déjeuner typiquement costaricien après un voyage pour se détendre aux sources chaudes et profiter d'un bain de boue volcanique.

Randonnée au parc national Avec notre guide naturaliste bilingue, vous marcherez 3,5 km (2 miles) sur le chemin circulaire de Las Pailas à travers la forêt tropicale pour profiter des meilleures vues sur le volcan, la nature incroyable, l'activité volcanique et la faune. Le parc abrite plus de 300 espèces d'oiseaux et de nombreux autres animaux, tels que des tatous, des baies, des iguanes, des coatis et des singes à face blanche, des singes hurleurs, des singes araignées, toucans, dindes et bien plus encore. Vous vous arrêterez pour voir l'activité volcanique, notamment des pots de boue bouillonnante, des fumerolles et un mini cratère. Le secteur Las Pailas montre de façon spectaculaire la puissance du volcan Rincon de la Vieja, le volcan le plus actif et le plus grand de Guanacaste, au Costa Rica. La vapeur et le soufre proviennent des fumerolles naturelles du sol jaune et rouillé. Observez des seaux en argile de différentes nuances de brun avec de l'eau volcanique bouillante, de fines bulles de boue volcanique grise et des explosions dans de grands seaux. Ce volcan ne ressemble à aucun autre au Costa Rica.
Après la randonnée, faites une courte promenade hors des sentiers battus jusqu'à la cascade d'Oropendola juste à l'extérieur du parc, où vous pourrez plonger et nager dans le lagon bleu.
Bains de boue volcanique et sources chaudes Après le déjeuner, vous serez conduit aux sources chaudes. Entourées d'une forêt tropicale sèche, les sources chaudes du Río Negro (Rivière Noire) disposent de dix piscines avec des eaux thermales chauffées naturellement par le volcan Rincón de la Vieja.Les eaux minérales apaisantes sont cristallines et entièrement naturelles. Détendez-vous et profitez de nos eaux curatives. Vous pouvez également essayer notre «bain» de boue volcanique, où vous lissez la boue d'argile volcanique sur votre corps!

We had a great time hiking in Rincon de La Vieja - we saw fumeroles, mud pits, and other volcanic activity. It was hot when we went but we were still able to see spider monkeys, wild turkeys, and a few other birds. The hot springs were neat. The water swimming was perfect cold mountain water to cool you down after the hike. Shoutout for our guide Daphne who was very knowledgeable and super nice!

It was a great trip. We took my older aunt and the tour operators were so patient. Plenty of food and bathroom breaks. Clean bathroom with tissue. I really enjoyed the hot springs

Excellent experience overall. The volcano is the most impressive activity we did in our stay in Guanacaste. This is a 2 mile hike that is kid-friendly. The waterfall was very nice, we enjoyed a 30 minute dip. The thermal bath was also very joyful, you have different pools at different temperatures, all close to 100 degrees F. Santos was our tour guide, he is very knowledgeable and kept the group informed at all times. I highly recommend this tour.

The experience was great! Lots and lots of stairs but completely worth it! The most beautiful tour! We even heard monkeys!

Carry an insulated reusable water bottle during hike. It can get hot. The tour guides provide cold bottles of water, before the hike! This hike was not strenous, however there are several steps to climb and descend. The lunch buffet was excellent and you can eat as much as you want! The tour guides were friendly, informative and fun!

Our guide Daphne was awesome, she guides us, answered questions, ensure we were ok, stayed with us all the time. The lunch was a nice surprise, we were expecting some easy and simple and we were taken to a very ice buffet restaurant.
