Dear Shannah, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are happy that the Pick up was great and very educative. We are also truly sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced at the airport and understand how upsetting this must have felt at the end of your vacation. Please allow us to clarify the reasoning behind the early Pick up and drop off at the Airport. For all airport transfers, particularly from the Maasai Mara to Nairobi, we plan drop-offs well in advance of flight time. We always encourage to drop off clients at least 2 hours before the Flight. This is because route is highly unpredictable due to the long distance, weather, and frequent traffic congestion when approaching Nairobi along Mai Mahiu and Summit where in case of traffic it takes a very long time to clear up. These factors are entirely beyond our control and can cause significant delays. In that regard our recommendation is always made as a precaution to ensure guests arrive at the airport safely and with sufficient time for check-in and security procedures. Unfortunately, when flights are missed due to road delays, tour operators are often held responsible. The earlier departure time was therefore chosen solely to protect you from the risk of traffic and avoid any chance of missing your international flight. While we understand the waiting time at the airport was uncomfortable, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has multiple terminals and facilities, including cafés and seating areas where passengers may wait prior to check-in opening. Regarding refreshments, once guests are dropped at the airport, services such as food and beverages fall outside our scope of responsibility, as airport facilities independently manage these amenities. We genuinely regret that this experience caused distress and assure you that the intention was never to inconvenience you, but to prioritize your safety, punctuality, and travel security.
