Originally we had planned trains from Florence to Cinque Terre. While in Florence we shopped and acquired several souvenirs that made train travel more cumbersome. We decided to alter our plans, and use this train travel day as an excursion from Florence to go to Tenuta Torciano Winery and a quick stop to San Gimignano en route to Monterosso. Our driver, Francesco picked us up on time, helped us with our bags, provided interesting commentary along the drive and was fabulous all around! This was also the a more expensive transportation portion of our 3 week trip, 1100 euro plus tip. However, for the comfort, convenience and experience, my daughters and I agreed we would do it again! Thank you for a memory of a lifetime!
Francesco was both very knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our trip and all of the information that he gave us on our trip north. We would highly recommend this service to anyone considering it!
