We actually had two tours over two days with Ahmed. Both were marvelous. He has so much knowledge and not just particular facts but a sophisticated understanding of History and geopolitics. He was very flexible and eager to accommodate the tour to our needs. On the second day we needed a driver for a different opportunity and he gave us good advice. Sometimes it appears that a guide will have an incentive to steer tourists in ne direction or another but that was not the case here at all. Ahmed really wanted us to have a good experience and had our interests in mind. And again his wealth of knowledge was phenomenal. Could not recommend more highly.
Wonderful experience. I did not really know what to expect. It was very safe and enjoyable. Better infrastructure than I expected. Ahmed was wonderful!! He was very gracious with his time and bought us extra things out of his pocket. We are very grateful.
Great tour of the beautiful sites. Ahmed was knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. Learned and saw a lot in couple of hours
Wonderful visit of Tunis (Medina and Bardo Museum), Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, accompanied by the talented Ahmed and brought by car very comfortably. Highly recommended!!!
Ahmed Koubi is a very professional guide. He speaks English fantastic!. The tour was amazing, clear and He was always open to responding all my questions. Definitely I’ll schedule a tour in my next trip to Tunisia.
I recommend Ahmed. He taught us a lot of things. He is very friendly and considerate.
Dear travellers, I would like to clarify a recent negative review posted on my profile. The review was written by another tour guide, Marwen Douiri, who operates desert tours. I had referred a group of Italian clients to him, and we initially agreed on all details, including the program and pricing. However, after the agreement, he requested additional payment. When we declined this change, he chose to leave a negative review on my TripAdvisor profile. This situation does not reflect the quality of my services or the experience I strive to provide to my guests. I always aim for transparency, professionalism, and clear communication. Thank you for your understanding, and I remain at your disposal for any questions. Kind regards, Ahmed
We had the most amazing tour with Ahmed. The tour flew by and it was very interesting. The guide was knowledgeable, answered all our questions and we learned so many things we had no idea about. Surely the best tour or activity we did in Tunisia. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great tour guide with an exceptional knowledge of a range of history.
Ahmed picked us up at our hotel in a van with a driver and we set off on our journey. He took us all over ancient Carthage with stops at the Byrsa, aqueducts, Roman baths and the port of old Carthage. As a Roman history buff, I couldn’t have been more intrigued with each place and Ahmed had so much information to add the things that I already knew. As someone who knows quite a bit about the area from research and teachings, seeing it in person was an absolute highlight and talking with Ahmed throughout, he was able to add additional information at me that wasn’t aware of. Super Knowledgeable, very nice, and funny as well. Highly recommended if you’re thinking about any tour in Tunisia.
