Great guide; good agenda; awesome day! It was nicely organized and the guide articulate and informative.
Had a fantastic day with Bou Bou. We visited Sidi Bou Said, Medina, Carthage, Bordo Museum, the ruins and the coliseum stadium structure! Bou Bou's knowledge of everything about the Tunisian culture was awesome, as was her enthusiasm and pride when explaining! The authentic lunch was delicious too. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants a fun and detailed lesson on Tunisia!
Rushed, very generic, there’s a lot to see and explore and so much history behind it. Going when climate is favorable
We respect your opinion, but we would like to clarify a few points so that future travelers have a fair and accurate understanding of our service. You mentioned yourself that there is “a lot to see and explore” and “so much history behind it.” We completely agree. This is a destination with a rich heritage, and naturally, one excursion cannot cover every site and every historical detail in depth. As for the climate, weather conditions are completely beyond the control of our agency. We are responsible for organizing and operating the excursion, but we cannot control the weather or guarantee favorable conditions on the day of the visit. We are always open to constructive criticism when it concerns the actual quality of our service. However, it is important to distinguish between the organization of an excursion and the weather conditions experienced that day. We take great pride in our professionalism and the reputation we have built with our travelers, and we will continue doing our best to provide a quality experience regardless of the weather.
We were there in sweltering heat (104) and we are on the older side. The guide kept walking us even as anyone could see that we were dragging. We’re kept asking how much longer to get on the bus. He then took us to a museum with steps and no AC. I told him that we were done and wanted to go back to the ship. He said let’s do lunch and see how we feel afterwards. Lunch was at a fly infested restaurant that did not have power so no AC. Apparently power outages are a problem in the entire town. We were all miserable. After eating we had to get the waiter to find him for us. We insisted that he take us back to the ship. He kept urging us to stay for the remaining 2 hours and that we could stay in the bus. We declined. I counted about 9,000 steps on my watch in the end. The guide wouldn’t or couldn’t read the room and realize that we were literally dying. He should have kept the walking to a minimum due to the heat as well as our ages. My advice is not to take this or any tour in this town unless you are extremely fit and can tolerate tremendous heat.
Hello We respect every traveler’s right to share their experience, but we cannot allow this review to give an inaccurate and unfair impression of our guide, our team, or our destination. Several statements in this review do not reflect what actually happened from our perspective. Our guide never intended to put anyone in danger or deliberately ignore anyone’s condition. When concerns were raised, he offered alternatives and tried to find a way for the group to continue the excursion comfortably. The extreme heat and power outages are circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather or the electricity supply of an entire town. We understand that temperatures of around 104°F can be challenging, especially for older travelers, and we always encourage our guests to communicate their needs and limitations so that we can adapt the experience whenever possible. We are especially disappointed by the way our guide has been portrayed. He is an experienced and professional guide who takes his responsibilities seriously. It is unfair to suggest that he simply ignored the well-being of the group. We are proud of our city and our country, and we work hard every day to give visitors the opportunity to discover their beauty and history. One difficult personal experience should not be presented as a reflection of our destination or the professionalism of our entire team. We stand behind our guide and our service, and we invite future travelers to consider the overall feedback from our guests rather than judging our team based on one negative experience. We are sorry that this particular excursion did not meet your expectations, but we firmly reject the suggestion that our team was indifferent to your comfort or safety. We wish you safe travels and hope your future experiences are more enjoyable.
This was an excellent way to see the history and sights of Tunisia. Our guide, Mahjoub, was fantastic; answering all of our many questions and directing our tour to better suit our curiosities and timing. If you are going in the summer, be prepared for the heat (it felt like 51’c mid-August!). The lunch was nice, but with the heat we didn’t feel like eating hot food.
Informative; interesting; guide exceptionally knowledgeable; definitely recommend. Lunch included at a great restaurant- we enjoyed the local foods
Our guide provided a great experience. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very. clearly. We had a lovely lunch and really enjoyed our tour. Thanks making our trip very memorable
Yahya was the best tour guide we've had on our trip. He was so knowledgeable and kind that it made us enjoy our day even more. He took the time to have us try exotic fruits and ensured we got the beat deals in the Medina. Personally, we have a lot of interest and questions about history as well as Islam. Yahya was happy to answer all of them and even seen to appreciate that we were asking these types of questions. Overall 10/10. Would recommend him to anyone who comes to Tunisia as their tour guide. WOW 👌🏽
I am giving two stars, because the explanations were good but upon arrival I noticed that the guide did not give us the museum tour. At the time, I had not checked. So I find that a shame in terms of customer satisfaction and the relationship of trust that one expects when buying a service. Ultimately I do not recommend it, it goes against the first impression I may have had.
Bonjour, Merci pour votre retour. Avant de mettre en cause les personnes ou la qualité de notre service, nous vous invitons à vérifier les détails de votre réservation.
