La bioluminescence est l'une des choses que vous devriez expérimenter pendant vos vacances au Costa Rica. Nous traverserons en kayak la baie de Paquera et passerons quelques îles. Alors que nous commençons notre visite avant le coucher du soleil, nous découvrons souvent des vues incroyables dans le ciel, ce qui ajoute un supplément supplémentaire à notre visite. Comme nous opérons uniquement en petits groupes, nous pouvons accorder une attention plus personnelle à nos clients si nécessaire. Cette visite n'est pas privée.

Fun kayaking, El Gecko provided water and fresh pineapple Nice touch. Normal guide was unavailable so we had a Spanish only guide. Unfortunately, he spoke very quietly and didn't offer a lot of content or scientific information regarding the background of bioluminescence. We experienced it - and it's magical!
The guide did not speak English. The first hour we were still waiting it was long and nothing to do. When it was dark the guide was looking for a place to swim it was long, he brought us to swim through the boat ropes....We found that it lacked organization.
This was really crap: - At the last minute we were informed that they would be a little later. This was 45 minutes late. - They ask me about whatsapp if there are more people waiting. You should know that, right? - Two men get out of the van. Hardly a "hello" can go off and a "sorry" couldn't even get off. - Both gentlemen together did not speak a word of English. Which was no big deal because the "guide" didn't say a stupid word for a long time on the full tour. He only paddled to a place, did some whatsapping, didn't realize that really everyone was done with it long and wide, and finally started paddling back at our request. This is definitely not recommended. This is not a tour. At best, you can call this a bad kayak rental.
It was a very interesting tour! The bioluminescence in the dark is beautiful! Our guide was very kind and funny!
The bioluminescence was amazing! It was so cool to watch it get brighter as it got darker. We even got to swim for a little bit and that was super fun as well!
Gil took us on the bioluminescence tour in Paquera and it was amazing. The fresh pineapple was delicious and the time that he gave us to swim in the ocean was magical. We had so much fun with our family and would highly recommend this tour.
The rain is unpredictable...go well prepared to enjoy even if you get wet. The guide not only guided us, but conveyed his taste for the phenomenon. It was a very different experience from the initial minute, even with the possibility of storm cancellation....it was cleaned, we went out to row, laughed, soaked, and enjoyed the expected bioluminescences.
The bioluminescence excursion is totally worth it!! The staff at El Gecko are friendly, fun and nice and the sunset was amazing!
We did this tour with a 1/3 Moon and this was still a lot too much light. The guys are nice but the guide could only speak Spanish. It was a nice night Kayaking round, but during the day we would have seen more....
