Topkapı Palace + Harem section visite guidée privée

We had a wonderful tour with Kadir. He is very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories as we toured around. He is also very friendly and engaging. I highly recommend him.

We were so lucky to meet Kadir! We didn’t plan on having a guide for the Hagia Sophia and on our way there we were constantly turning down offers for samples, restaurants, and carpets. We were a little worn out. When we were in front of Hagia Sophia there was a long line and it was a little chaotic and there were a lot of guides proposing tours. Our initial reaction was to ignore them all. When Kadir approached us we first didn’t want guiding but after we realized we could get to the front of the line and have a personal experience for not much more than the cost of admission we agreed. We were glad we did. We learned being a guide in Istanbul requires a university degree and expertise. He was very informative and made the experience much better. We appreciated the guidance so much we had him guide us again for the Topkapi Palace as well two days later. Thank you Kadir!

I am with my family, and while I’m in university, my family is much less interested in the nitty gritty details of the sites and are more interested in the big picture. Kedir was our tour guide and he is extremely knowledgeable. He does a great job catering to both types of people: when I want detail he gives it and when my parents want basics, he provides that too. He is able to answer your questions likely because he doesn’t follow a script. He really is just THAT knowledgeable. He is so personable and friendly and it’s a joy to speak with him because of his passion for his work. We had him twice and are going to see him again because of how much we love him. Thank you Kedir!

Our amazing tour guide Kadir explain with knowledge details the history of the various sites we visited. We highly recommend Kadir as your experience guide when you vosit Istanbul.

We did a tour with Kadir on our last visit to Istanbul and he was great! His knowledge, energy, and love for the city made the experience unforgettable. He shared fascinating history, local stories, and great tips we wouldn’t have found on our own. The tour was fun, well-organized, and engaging from start to finish. Highly recommend Kadir to anyone visiting Istanbul!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our private tour guide. From the very beginning, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. The tour felt perfectly paced and thoughtfully tailored to our interests, with so many insightful stories and local touches we never would have discovered on our own. Most of all, his warmth and kindness made us feel completely at ease and truly cared for. This was a highlight of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend jim more highly.” Michael and Isabelle

Kadir is the nicest guy we meet in instanbul and he took me and my son on an incredible tour of the Hagia Sophia mosque! He’s knowledge of this historic ancient mosque that has also been at the center of Christian history was enlightened and made the tour worth it! I highly recommend Kadir to everyone who comes to Istanbul as a must see!

Had an amazing tour of the Hagia Sofia with Kadir. He's extremely knowledgeable, patient and has a very calming vibe. I would highly recommend reaching out to him if you're looking for a guide while in Istanbul. We'll be recommending him to all our friends. Thanks again Kadir!

Kadir was absolutely fabulous! He is so knowledgeable! We would have missed very important details about Hagia Sophia had we done this without him. My only regret is we did not have more time to hire him for the entire day!

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Guide Kadir while we were in line. Initially, we were unsure about hiring him, but after just three minutes of talking with Kadir, we decided to go for it—and we're so glad we did! He is fantastic and provided the best tour we've ever experienced. His personality is perfect, and his knowledge is incredibly impressive. We trusted him so much that we took his advice and booked a plane ticket to Ephesus two days later. Once again, we’re thrilled we followed his recommendation; the trip was amazing. I am hoping to have Guide Kadir on my podcast, "The Buddy Foy Jr. Show," where he can share more history with my listeners and introduce them to a truly fantastic human being.
