La mosquée du Sultan Ahmed, connue sous le nom de Mosquée Bleue par de nombreux touristes en raison de sa décoration intérieure bleutée (des carreaux bleus entourant les murs de la décoration intérieure), est la mosquée la plus importante d'Istanbul, située à côté de l'hippodrome byzantin dans le vieux centre-ville.

C'est une petite rue avec de belles maisons historiques qui sont adossées au mur du palais de Topkapi.
Hagia Sophia, l'église de la Divine Sagesse, un splendide monument vieux de quinze cents ans, est un incontournable à Istanbul, construite pour être le plus grand lieu de culte du monde par l'empereur Justinien en 532 après JC.

- Les vêtements modestes sont à privilégier lors de la visite de la Mosquée Bleue. Le short pour homme ou femme doit être sous le genou. Les femmes se couvrent la tête et les épaules exposées avec un foulard ou un châle, la jupe doit être en dessous du genou. Pour ceux qui n'ont pas de vêtements adaptés, des stands sont disponibles à l'entrée. Salopette et foulard sont fournis gratuitement.

Tolga was a great guide. Just the two of us in this party so a really personal experience. Well paced tour of 2 great sites. A knowledgeable guide and plenty of time to take in the sights. Tolga really brought the history alive with stories of palace life, but also gave us time to wander at our own pace. In 3.5 hour you cannot see everything, but he left us with pointers in what more there was to see after he left us. Good value, and so much better than an audio guide.

The tour was wonderful. Nadriye was very patient with my elderly mother and my young daughter who were slower than the rest of us. She was very attentive and considerate. The palace and mosque are a great glimpse into istanbuls wonderful history and a must see for any tourists in the city.

What scams, what are the 70 euros paid when booking for? Be careful you also have to pay 80th to the guide to access the palace, I do not recommend this visit at all, do it alone if possible, you will only pay 1500try with a audio guide, never again TripAdvisor

Our guide was very knowledgeable, and willing to share. We were both injured (knee strains) and unable to walk quickly but our guide was extremely accommodating in that she walked slowly and allowed us frequent rest breaks.
